Convenient location, limited options that are now even more limited as they transition to more of a cafe/restaurant. I hope they're successful.
Parking: I can often find a spot on the street right in front!

Customer service has destroyed our ability to shop here anymore. The establishment has so much to offer custom cakes, rotational food options. However we experienced complete lack of respect and more importantly it was aimed at a child trying to buy an item that has become a staple in his childhood to have to tell your kiddo they won’t be shopping at an establishment because they have experienced prejudice and disrespect before they even know what that means is just to much and not worth a cookie or the experience.

Such a cute place to stop for food and coffee close to I5. We had delicious beagles and cream cheese here! Lots of food variety and charm.
Thanks for a great coffee. Had the chicken pesto. Really really good.

Mince Mercantile is a gem! Their custom cakes are not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious. Perfect for any special occasion! Their breakfast bowls are a must-try—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start your day. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit a pleasure. Edit: Bumped up to 3 stars, the apple tart may have been chilly but it was damn good ?
Cute little shop, came in looking for plain coffee and wanting to avoid supporting Starbucks.
They only had Americano. Not sure why a cafe doesn't just have some drip coffee sitting in a thermos but whatever, I wasn't picky. The lady at the counter seemed short though, maybe she had a bad morning. The espresso bean with my Americano was nice, had to ask her what it even was though after she set my order on the counter and walked away. They must be used to only serving regulars.
Also got a 6$ apple tart that they didn't even offer to warm up, maybe most people at them cold ?
About 14$ for a watered down espresso and a cold pastry.
Guess I shoulda just went to Starbucks.
The owner REFUSE to comply or acknowledge the Washington State Law Against Discrimination. The owner is not trainable or teachable and was argumentative and unwilling to listen. Bad attitude and unwilling to learn the law and claim she has been trained. If she has been trained then she has chosen not to follow the law. She did NOT speak in a manner that was trained business owner. I would not recommend from my personal Experience with this business owner. Poor treatment I am an advocate for disable person'a rights and I did NOT have meaningful conversation. I highly recommed she get training about business against discrimination. The Washington State Law Against Discrimination makes it illegal for an employer to discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, marital status or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person.
The setting was cute but the less than friendly vibe was disappointing. Luckily we found a different spot that was more than happy to help us into the right direction.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food is delicious, diverse and unique. The bagels are soft and flavorful. They have so many things I want to try. They also have cute merchandise in the back.
As for the staff, they are just as good as the food. Very attentive, welcoming, accommodating and pleasant.
Overall I would 10/10 recommend coming here. I’m definitely going to bring my friends here.

This is the chicken pesto sandwich. One was 11 months ago and the other today on April 26 2024. Wanted to go here to show my wife how delicious and big they are. Well I looked like a fool today. Could not believe my eyes seeing how small this sandwich became. manager Regina saying that she can't provide a refund or an extra side and that the only modification she has done is cutting off an inch of the BREAD in the past 14 months. My wife was speaking on my behalf saying that she understands inflation but we just wanted a refund. But Ms. Regina decides to tell my wife that "she feels sorry that you are married to that person" and other disrespectful remarks to my wife. Quite professional. No refund was given thank you Regina would've avoided a whole 1 star review but hey at least we got no refund :) you win
