We had a fantastic dinner here, in Sept 2021. Sharing now because we were reminiscing about what a great time we had. All the food (and wine) was delicious, and our server was awesome. Can't wait to go back one day.

Favorite restaurant of all ?
Pretentious. Not really worth the money. But if you don't mind spending more to eat with yuppie non locals THIS is the place for you!
Btw: they would rather you not bring your kids...
Looked amazing, too bad your online portal is clunky and wouldnt let me finalize my order in time. If you sell out in 40 minutes, maybe you should make some more pizza dough before hand... just a thought.
Good pizza but with the automatic 20% service charge I would say it was the most expensive takeout small pizza I ever ate. The $26 pizza turned into a $35 after all fees and taxes. About 1.5 servings.
Hogstone's Wood Oven pizza is excellent. We arrived late one afternoon, off the ferry, not knowing about the current restaurant overcrowding situation. We didn't have a reservation, and Hogstone's is currently reservation only. But, even though they were full and had just closed the kitchen for ordering, they took pity on my family and took our order for some to-go pies. Maybe the tasted a little better because of this, but we ate them on the back of our tailgate and enjoyed the warm summers evening in Eastsound. Get a reservation and try anything on the menu.
Amazing food and lovely people. Thoughtful menu and locally sourced ingredients. Great wine list. I visit everyone I go to the island and can’t wait to go back.

Great woodfired pizza. Try the mushroom! A little pricey for takeout, after the automatic service charge.
We booked Hogstone recently for our wedding and I just can't say enough good things. The food was everything we wanted and more. (the pizza specifically was SO GOOD). People kept raving that food is never that good at weddings but that the Hogstone team did everything right! When we had to re-schedule due to COVID they were so understanding and kind and worked with us despite a venue change that made things much harder on them. Thanks for making our day so special and delicious.

Mmm..wood fired pizza..
We were thrilled to score a reservation at James Beard recognized local chef Jay Blackinton’s Hogstone. Pictured here is corn grit and tomato macerated strawberry and snap pea salad. The pizzas with the cheddar cheese dipping mousse are a must while in town!
Small plates from here were particularly delicious (squash, potatoes with cheese, and roasted cauliflower). Pizza was excellent as well, including their gluten-free crust. And the ice creams they make - wow! Definitely more adult, savory sort of flavors though, so be warned kiddos might be less into them. A bit pricey but quality is high so will likely be back.
Loved the pepperoni pizza. It was very good and the crust was ???
Takeout only as of review post date.
I had no problem with it, but good to be mindful that it’s $27 for a pretty small pizza, would at most serve 2 small eaters.
Service charge!? Totally unacceptable to include a tip when it is pickup only. They are adding a 16% “Service Charge” on top of tax and will not remove it when asked. We tip for table service as part of the US culture but for no service it is unacceptable. Please also note that if you walk up to the window they will refuse to take the pizza order. You must call to order. You know part of the service you pay for...... Pretentious staff virtually ignores you before blessing your party with their presence.
