The owner was very friendly. The tacos, burritos and sopes can be made vegan. Pupusas are prefilled so they can't be vegan. I ordered a vegan burrito, which was very hefty, saucy and delicious. Don't forget to ask for a free side hot sauce if you like that. I'm not sure if they ran out or the recipe was unique, there were no beans in the burrito. However the stuffed vegetables (including radishes) and rice well made up for that. Highly recommended!
Great authentic street tacos. We got the mixed plate of four tacos (chicken, al pastor, asada and veggie/refried beans). All were tasty and fresh with avocado salsa on top. My daughter also enjoyed the chicken and cheese quesadillas which was more Tex-Mex style but great for kids.
Easily some of the best food on Orcas Island! We’ve been to Orcas quite a few times and have eaten at most of the restaurants in the area. The food here absolutely blew us away! Everyone working there is so kind. We were just bummed that we came here on our last day - we will absolutely be coming back on our next visit!

Joanna's operates out of a blue food-truck parked 90% of the time behind Ray's Pharmacy in Templin Center of Eastsound on Orcas Island. The food is El Salvadoran and the taste is amazing!! You have to try their Chicken Quesadillas, or their burritos! The tacos they serve are simply delightful as well. This is a hard-working family and I hope they stay on Orcas Island for a very long time!

Hidden gem found in a parking lot across the market. The tacos were very good and cooked to order with good amount of meat. The bean and cheese pupusas were so good and flavorful. The salsa they give you is the perfect spice. Staff is fun and have good energy.

Papusas with the slaw and roasted pepper hot sauce. Something special trust me. The ladies working the truck were also incredibly sweet. 10/10

Island life is crazy expensive for all sorts of reasons. But Johanna's food is excellent, satisfying, and probably the only "affordable" (by island standards) gig in town. If you're on a budget , order up a pupusa for $5 or a burrito for under $20 (you'll pay the same on the mainland). Even better, I'm pretty sure their tortillas are homemade like I've had in Loreto, Mexico.

The best tacos in Washington! Born and raised on the Mexican border and have spent years worth of time there. These tacos are authentic!
Great food. Kids loved their burritos and my chicken burrito was fantastic.Opening hours (days) are good for people looking for lunch but stuck with lots of restaurants being closed mid week.Overall, great food truck, tasty food and lovely people working there.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options - just ask for them.
Parking: Parked right next to it
Kid-friendliness: Had lunch with my kids aged 4, 6 and 8. Great little stools for kids.
