Locals go here for high quality imported deli items and great baked goods made on site. The makings of many fabulous picnics can be got here. Don't tell the tourists (unless they're cool)!
The Cucumber side is delish a dose of spice with the crisp of cucumber add in a touch of tart with the Champagne vinegar. The English Pea Hummus Sandwich is mouth watering!!! The bread adds crunch to complement the smooth hummus. Went back two times in a row it was so good!!
Whenever I visit Orcas, I always save a meal for Roses. I can't recommend a certain dish because everything I've had has been delicious. You can taste the quality & freshness of the ingredients in every bite. My absolute favorite is their olive oil cake. They have a great selection pantry items attached to the restaurant as well. Orcas is a special place, where they value quality and intention (in my opinion). Maybe that's why some people have gotten the "pretentious"...
