What a fantastic gem of a business, run by wonderful people! My wife and I were visiting the island for her birthday, and had emailed the bakery ahead asking if they had gluten free items. They responded that they typically did, and would be willing to see a couple aside for us to make sure we could get some. And they did! They were so kind, and the baker came out and described in detail each of the items she baked (which were also fantastic by the way). Can’t recommend enough if you’re in the area during their pop up times!
Dietary restrictions: They had some gluten free items

Some of the best baked goods I’ve had. At the level of Parisian bakeries with a PNW twist. Worth the long lines in the summer ?

Brea’s pastries are a true highlight of the week on Orcas. Over the few years she’s been doing her Saturday pop-ups, her creativity and artistry has evolved in delicious ways! Watch her Instagram for a preview of the week’s offerings, always seasonal and special. I have also commissioned a birthday cake from her, and it was so yummy and exquisitely decorated. Her baking is a labor of love. We’re so lucky to have her talent in our community!

Was one of our favorite parts of our trip!! We got a birthday cake and some baked goods and had a gorgeous picnic outside back in May!! Couldn't have been more impressed with the service, artistry or taste of everything!! Thanks for the birthday joy :)
(quiche and tarts pictured were from brown bear, cake & baked goods were from seabird!)

You will not be disappointed with the love and care that this sweet pop-up bakery brings to the island community. Local and regionally sourced ingredients as well as foraged are used in the pastries. Intentionality is felt in everything they do and I feel so lucky we get to have this experience! Worth the wait, anytime and every time!

The feeling of having local pastries by islanders for our community cannot be quantified in a Google Review.
I’ve been allergic to wheat my entire life and as a result have eaten some pretty bland food. Seabird creations are the best gluten free pastries I’ve ever had so I’m incredibly lucky that they’re my routine stop on Saturday mornings. If you’re also gf you’ll need to show up early in the summers as they often sell out of the famous corn cookie.

Pastries made with love and wholesome local ingredients. The highlight of my Saturday over and over again, with the pop-up style of this bake shop it always feels that much more special to go in and eat something so beautiful, and delicious, oh and did I mention my body always feels good after these pastries!!

We enjoyed a mushroom filled pastry, a cardamom bun, coffee, and the house made chai. All were perfect! The house chai was especially memorable.

Super slow service. Having long conversations with customers while there's a line out the door is not cool. We were waiting 15minutes and by the time we get to the counter they are out of everything but 2 items. Will not return. Please be mindful people are needing to catch the ferry making us wait for long conversations then to be out of everything is a waste of everyone's time.
The chai was good though.

Seabird Bakeshop is one of those places where you cannot wait to see what they have available on any given day. From seasonal selections to the tried and true cardamom buns, Seabird always over delivers both in presentation and deliciousness. Local ingredients and so much care go into the creation of each and every pastry.
Side note: if there is a pie sale, jump on it! Six months after having a Seabird pie for Thanksgiving, we still talk about how it was the best pie ever and we cannot wait to get one again next year.
