I wish I could say the food was wonderful, however, the staff was so rude we left before we could order. It is a lovely location, but unfortunately the sun was shining in our eyes at the table we were sat. We got up and moved which apparently was the wrong thing to do. Reading the reviews I see that we are not the only ones who encountered rude staff.

Absolutely amazing! I ordered the bruschetta and the blackened rockfish and both were 10/10. The views from the restaurant were stunning as well.
Came here for lunch and I am so disappointed. First , I would never take the time to leave a review if I didn’t feel it was necessary. However, I am also in the restaurant industry and WOULD NEVER make a customer feel the way I was made feel today,. My fiancé and I came in with my 6 month old daughter and our jogging stroller. When the server sat us at our table he made a comment about how the restaurant was small and didn’t have the proper room for it. I immediately felt unwelcome and as if me and my family were an inconvenience, primarily my daughter. The food was ok, the atmosphere is wonderful. But I definitely wouldn’t dine here again with how we were treated by staff

Mediocre at best. Okay menu and atmosphere, but very slow service, and server that couldn’t have been less interested. The host actually visited our table during our meal and did a great job. Our actual server took our order, ignored us until it was time to pay and then implied she expected a sizable tip. Disappointing enough that we will find other places to eat while visiting.

Despite being short-staffed and overbooked, the food on their special Valentine's Day 3-course dinner menu was really quite good. Our flat iron steak was cooked perfectly and the red wine paired with it was great! While the kitchen was definitely behind, we came wearing our "patience pants" so we weren't put out by the modest service delay.

Delicious! The pan fried oysters were so good as well as the Salmon! They also made delicious cocktails. Service was really great. Felt very comfortable and well taken care of.

We loved this place so much we went back again while we were there!
Right next to the water& could walk down a staircase to the beach.
We enjoyed our food very much & even liked seeing what others ordered...it all looked good! Cozy & local / friendly atmosphere. Definitely get the chowder!

I recently landed at Orcas Island Airport and was told this was the restaurant to visit. I was excited to go but was completely disappointed by the lack of service. Upon entering, we were not greeted at all—no “hello” or even an acknowledgment that someone would be with us shortly, despite multiple open tables. While waiting, I called to check if there was a wait. The person who answered said, “No, come on in.” I mentioned that our group was already sitting up front, ready to be seated, only for her to casually respond that they were "super busy."
Ten minutes passed after the phone call, and still, not a single word was said to us, even though we had been waiting for so long after making the call. The way we were treated was beyond disappointing, especially after we had been so excited to visit. It’s truly frustrating to have such a lack of professionalism and basic courtesy when we were looking forward to a great experience.
Overall terrible experience, truly disappointing.
I appreciate the response, but let’s be clear about what actually happened. We waited at the front for 20 minutes without being acknowledged, despite the fact that the restaurant was busy. No greeting, no update—just ignored. When I finally called from the host stand, I was told there were seats for two and to come right in, yet when we tried to get seated, we were met with attitude and excuses.
I understand being short-staffed, but basic customer service—acknowledging guests and providing clear communication—shouldn’t be optional. Instead of taking responsibility, your response is dismissive and condescending. A simple ‘We’re sorry for the experience, and we’ll work on improving our communication’ would have gone much further than trying to belittle a valid complaint. Hopefully, you take this as an opportunity to improve instead of deflecting.

The garlic mashed potatoes were so salty, we couldn't eat them, I mentioned it to the waitress and she said the cook gets a little heavy with the salt !?! I was like 'Take it away from him,' let people salt to taste.
