Stopped here for lunch in the way to Mt. Rainier. Oh.My.Goodness! I had the best sandwich of my life! The Cottage Dip! The focaccia bread was to die for! It was so generous in size that I shared it with one of my daughters. My other daughter had the club sandwich and a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. She said it was fabulous. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shop smells amazing from all the bakery items. We also had lattes that were great. Highly recommend!
This place is great! If you're headed out the 161 and you need breakfast or coffee then this is the perfect pit stop. They have excellent coffee and delicious pastries and doughnuts (they also have hot breakfast but I didn't try those). They have a quaint indoor dining area, but also outdoor seating that overlooks part of their little valley and is a very relaxing spot to sit and enjoy a coffee.It is on the right as you first come into town from the north so be careful...
We've previously stopped at a large-chain sandwich shop in Eatonville, but on this trip decided to check-out Cottage Bakery & Cafe. Our experience was great in every respect. Customer service was polite and efficient . The indoor space was pleasant and clean, and our sandwiches (packed to-go for our trip to nearby Mount Rainier NP) were generous *and* delicious. We will definitely be back!
