The staff here are super chill and get along well with the locals. I love stopping by when I can to get away from DFAC food 😂 from base. The wait times are reasonable in my opinion, from takeout calls to walk-ins to dine-ins, I get why it takes the time it does. Their Varsity Crumble is straight goated, always hits the sweet spot for me and my battle buddies when I bring it back to the barracks. Their pizza and cheesy bread is great! The kids are always asking for Varsity on Taco Tuesday because taco pizza and taco salads are half off so they know we are more likely to say yes. 😀
Varsity is our go to for pizza in this area. They deserve credit for making really good pies. We are native New Yorkers and if you get a thin crust, extra crispy pie, it very closely approximates a proper NY slice. Closest we have come out here. Thanks Varsity!
