We were partipating in Dry January. We had two different Non Alcoholic beverages. Blueberry Lavender Lemon Drop and Spicy Collins, both where so sour. We finished the Blueberry beverages (it was small) but I had two sips of the collins and couldn't finish it. I had Broccolini as a side dish and it was ice cold. When making a reservataion you always ask if we are there for a special occasion. We were there for my husband's birthday, but it was never acknowleged. We usually...

I could be wrong about this, but I don't think of it as a "foodie" place - it does not have cutting-edge items like nettles, gochujang butter, etc. The food is basic surf-and-turf, but prepared in an outstanding way with attention to detail. For example, the scallop-and-steak platter included croutons - which were just about the best-tasting croutons I've ever had. The meat was cooked exactly as requested, and the French fries, mashed potatoes, broccolini sides...
