I was little bit surprised to see this place with such a high rating? I would agree that the service is very good and it's a nice place. However it's the food that matters imo... We moved to Edmonds several years ago and despite the high reviews most places in the general area are overrated. Specifically when it comes to the food quality and culinary prowess. I've tried this place several times and ...meh... it's OK. Food was fair. Sausage was weird. Chicken, herb or something. I don't like fusion in a breakfast sausage. I just want sausage. Simple. Both times they didn't tell me. Both times I sent it back. Sorry, but it's just another mediocre place that I will not be going to. I will say the place was clean and the food was prepared well. My rating would be 4 at the highest.

My partner and I stopped in here this afternoon for a quick lunch and some lattes. Great food, great service, nice low lighting, very quiet, and comfortable atmosphere. The two people working were super sweet and knowledgeable!!
Dietary restrictions: good gluten free bread, and excellent protocol around avoiding cross-contamination for those with celiac

We stopped here for a quick break. Hubby ordered a cappuccino and it came in a huge cup. It was around $5, not a bad deal.
There's a fireplace and a nice couch with tons of seats to sit. Tons of locals come here to chill or chat. There are tons of paintings on the wall. We sat for many 30 minutes before heading out. The only downside is the bathroom is for one person only, and there is only one.

Every time we come to visit - as far away as Bellevue/Redmond/Kirkland/Bothell, we have a fabulous time. Great menu, served with smile and care, next to a warm and cozy fireplace - make this place truly a gem in all of Edmond.
Thanks for accommodating our large group of 12, as we walked in with no reservation, yet you gave us your best table in the house and treated us like royalty.

Nice place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat - nice menu of breakfast and lunch options. Food is fresh and fast (and they have a lot of menu options including vegetarian), but they'd benefit from hiring someone with cooking expertise. (for example, our BLT had not-crispy bacon, and barely sufficient L and T, missing mayonnaise altogether) No soup today, unfortunately. Quite excellent service--they were friendly and responsive-- they brought out our food and a treat for the dog. No waiting! Love the spaciousness here - great for anyone using a wheelchair, rollator, or other assistive device. We sat outside on the patio - lots of room, shady, comfortable options for seating. Staff brought out our drink. Maybe our new favorite hangout in downtown Edmonds.
Parking: Popular street, especially on Saturdays (market day), makes it hard to find parking. There's are a few handicap spots around, but expect to have to walk a couple of blocks on crowded days.
