Fantastic meal and service at Charcoal. Sophia helped us with drinks and food. We ordered several of the small plates and had cocktails. We had pickled vegetables, pork belly lettuce wraps, grilled calamari steak, and the panchana soba. All were excellently cooked and presented. The amount was perfect to have dessert after which was the coffee creme brulee.

Everything was perfect. Food was sooo good! Wait staff was very patient with us. A must visit if you are in the area.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Charcoal on recent Sunday night! The service was outstanding, I ordered the 8 oz prime picanha and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. A nice selection of wines by the glass and a wide selection of wines by the bottle. Very nice ambiance too.

My daughter and I shared a few items and all were delicious. I had wine, she had a cocktail and everything was perfect. We enjoyed the Filet, and it was prepared perfectly. Service was excellent from the hostess who worked hard to seat us a little early to our wonderful server. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Only our second time there, but another fabulous experience. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive. The food is wonderful and was prepared exactly as requested. Our friends were very impressed with the ambience and said it felt like one of the finest downtown Seattle establishments, but cozy for a local experience. This is our first time trying their happy hour menu and it certainly did not disappoint. Previously we had done one of the shared experiences, which was simply outstanding.

Our favorite restaurant in the Seattle area. Food and service are top notch. Highly recommend.

The quality of the food was ok. Not great and certainly not worth the pricing. They charge fine dining prices for fair quality food. Service was friendly, attentive and timely.

Charcoal is always a pleasant, relaxed place for some elevated food and drink. We made it for the end of Seattle Restaurant Week, which we found to be a great value with the included wine pairings. Add on a dessert and stroll through the adjacent gallery for a complete evening.

We always have good food here, but last night the steak salad and the pork chop were superb! It was very delicious and so great to eat at a neighborhood spot.
