“Finally made it to Hot Cakes!
Not sure if it was the hype from my friends that I came in very high expectations.

Ordered the Dark Decadence which is Dark Chocolate with caramel toffee and Vanilla Ice cream. you can feel the difference in the richness of the dark chocolate. The vanilla ice cream was great and not super sweet!

I tried their Matcha Croffle, and it was an absolute dream — golden, crisp on the outside, with buttery, flaky layers inside that melted in my mouth. The balance of flavors was perfect — the slight bitterness of the matcha paired beautifully with the subtle sweetness of the cream and drizzle on top. It’s one of those desserts that manages to be rich without ever feeling heavy.

I also ordered their Dalgona Milk Tea, and it was one of the best milk teas I’ve had in Seattle. Smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweetened — you can tell they use high-quality tea leaves. I love the inside of the place omg it had so much space, everything was beautiful and they even had a Halloween dessert (I didn’t get it cause we didn’t want to try anything too new cause the place is new yk ). The little dolls were so cute omg. The guy who was there had so much patience with me (especially cause I was just there taking my sweet time looking at what they had lol) but yeah it tasted so good.
