Excellent food and service experience from drinks to dessert. It had been awhile since our last visit and this was even better than we remembered. We won't wait so long to return.
It was a bit noisier than usual, I think there were high school homecoming kids dining; well-behaved just chatty perhaps. Epulo is one of my favorites. The food seems always done well. The service is friendly and fun. The only problem for me was the bread/baguette; it was too toasted to the point of difficulty biting into it. A good, non-heated bread is nice to quiet the palate. We will keep coming because the overall experience is always good.
Nice place ,friendly waitress. Service ok. Soup didn't come before the meal.had to ask for it. When it did arrive server just pushed dinner plate out of way and set soup down. Peach crisp was mediocre. No crisp. It was like raw oatmeal on top. Flavorless. Peaches over sweet. Pasta was glutinous Burger was good. Server was annoying, checking and coming and taking plates and when told not done, set back down and pushed stuff around.
I ordered the short rib dish so I would have leftovers for another meal. The following night when I opened the container it was not my leftovers. Very disappointing.
This place is wonderful. I keep going back and each time I try something different. Each meal has been as good as the first. Highly recommend this place.
Having enjoyed their takeout before, we've been wanting to sit on the deck here for a meal, and it didn't disappoint -- beautiful ambiance, fragrant blooms, an outdoor heater at each table to battle late summer evening chill, and a nice sunset as well. Note that when the distillery Scratch next door has its patio hours Th/F/Sa, folks lingering there can get very boozy and loud until they disperse sometime after 6 pm, but generally, the noise is moderate. The pumpkin soup and steak were delicious, as were the drinks and tiramisu, although the mahi mahi and its accompanying risotto were surprisingly bland. Will stick with steak and pizza dishes in the future, which is what they excel with.
The most amazing experience. Delicious food, great ambiance, the staff was able to puree the food for my dad who has an esophageal condition and was visiting from out of town. Above and beyond staff!
Very nice spot. Outdoor area was very nice. The staff was great. It took a long time to get our food and the food was ok. We had pork and salmon. Both were very dry. A little disappointed.
We had a lovely birthday dinner for my mom turning 70 last night. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was wonderful. We ordered a bottle of wine off their amazing wine list, and got to chat with the owner (who is a Sommelier!) for a while when she brought the wine to our table. Delicious wine, great food, and wonderful hospitality.
Great food! Nice ambiance. We've been there a few times now and everything is always amazing

We visted Epulo to celebrate the birthdays of my sister (age 60) and mother (age 84). We made some requests for comfortable outdoor dining in a quiet area with heaters. We got exactly that, and more. Excellent service from experienced wait staff. Outstanding cocktails and appetizers. And the entrees were all delicious. Dessert was comped by our server, which was a very kind gesture for our family birthdays. Cant say enough about Epulo. Top notch dining. Definitely a favorite. Thank you for the experience!
Great food and great to see Jack again behind the bar. He even came out to our table to make sure my wife's drink was perfect.
Excellent food in great location. Like that the menu is creative and changes over time. That shows the creative energy the chef/owner has. We will be back!!
We went for a Birthday dinner and it was wonderful! Every dish is prepared with fresh, well thought out details and we shared plates, which is always fun. The homemade burrata appetizer is a meal itself! Carefully curated cocktails and n/a cocktails were great. The restaurant comped our dessert too. We love this restaurant!
Not Epulo of the past. Had a Manhattan and it was terrible. Maybe they gave me a happy hour version? Service was uninterested and blah. Food was too. Freshen the menu. In summary, not worth the money and frankly, disappointmenting. Oh, it was our anniversary too. Go to Salt and Iron.
