There is the welcome feel, gracious and efficient service, and exceptional food and wine--recommending my favorite, the rigatoni formaggio with mushrooms--and there is always a sense of stepping into a special place in time. My family of 9 went to epulo for Easter lunch and truly enjoyed our experience. We were immediately seated and able to order appetizers quickly which was great since we were hungry. All the appetizers were exceptionally delicious. And our main courses were also equally tasty. Our server was so attentive and so sweet. Would highly recommend this place and can't wait for our next visit.

The food at Epulo is pretty good but I feel like the price was a few dollars too high. Everything was seasoned well. The atmosphere was nice, except for the bar area with a TV playing sports. The pianist was great and made up for that.
Loved the smooth jazz standards played by local pianist Sam Hood. Made our Sunday evening dinner so special.

Went there the fourth time last Thur. evening to meet friends. Got a great booth like we had in the past. We came from Gig Harbor and walked on the Kingston ferry. Service and food very good in the past, and it began as the same. But this time they blew it with a buzz kill on our good times. We arrived at 5pm expecting to stay till 8 like in several times in past. But at 6:30pm when they delivered the entree, the waitress informed us that the party who had reserved the booth at 6:30 was waiting for us to finish. Of course, we ignored her , and our service went into the tank. Even the receptionist ignored our request for refills as she walked by, s I just went to the bartender. We never complained, nor were we loud and/or obnoxious. I was stunned at their treatment of us compared to the past. We paid our $400+ bill and left at 8pm. If the owner was there, he/she would have been shocked. Fortunately , Edmonds has many great restaurants to choose from.

First time to try this restaurant. Atmosphere was nice but a bit loud and we were near the door so cold wind gusting in with each guest. Two dinners were great (shrimp and grits, short ribs), but the ribeye steak (featured) was thin, tough, and overcooked. Very disappointing.
