A friend and I attended a Tea for Cornish College/institute of Allied Arts at a Cascade Museum at a shopping mall in Edmonds, WA. In the same complex was Scratch Distillery. Enjoyable and informative!
I absolutely love Scratch cocktails! The location is fantastic and the place is so fun. I love how it is decorated! The cocktails are super delicious and I love to visit even though I'm mostly a wine snob. I should also mention that the owners are really fun too!
Scratch hosted a private birthday party for a cousin, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Got a tour of the distillery, what a great story-- such an impressive use of what felt like a small space. And from that space they deliver a delicious array of gins, vodkas, and a well balanced whiskey that makes a heck of an Old Fashioned. Left with a bottle of said whiskey and amaro, and already enjoying them at home. Will definitely revisit the distillery on a return visit to Edmonds.

Scratch Distillery is a cozy and clean spot offering delicious spirits and cocktails. The barrel-aged gin and aquavit are must-tries, with the Lavender Bee's Knees gin martini being a favorite. Kim and her team have crafted an incredible array of spirits that are both stunning and delicious. Their knowledge of "Ginology" is unmatched, and they make the experience even better with their passion and attention to detail. The Ginology class is a unique experience where guests learn about the history of gin while enjoying two gin-based cocktails and designing their own bespoke gin bottle. The attentive and welcoming service adds to the experience, and being dog-friendly is a bonus. The seating area can be a little cramped and loud when the distillery is busy, but many customers keep coming back, with many becoming loyal Club Members. Scratch Distillery is a gem that shouldn’t be missed!
