“I really enjoy this restaurant. I've been coming here for years. Always had a positive experience. My bf and I came in for dinner last night. They had just two staff members waiting on the entire restaurant and bar, but they did a great job with service. I was worried at first, but they nailed everything and service wasn't overbearing, which I appreciate. We ordered two drinks: my standard Beefeater on the rocks with olives, and my boyfriend always orders the Blue Glass Manhattan with Buffalo. You wouldn't think restaurants could bungle a Manhattan, but some do, which is why we're always pleased that they do it so well here. And I'm always so pleased to have Beefeater available. The food: we order the burrata every time, and it's always so tasty. I love the chopped olives. I wish they confited the tomatoes a bit, but that's me being nit-picky. This app is solid and pleasing.I ordered the crab gnocchi. It is a soft Parisienne style gnocchi, which I haven't seen in a long time, and I appreciate the care that went into making it. Lots of delicious crabmeat was mixed throughout. The butter sauce was good, but I wish it had a touch more salt, and again that the tomatoes were cooked a bit, maybe blistered or something to liven them up, but I still enjoyed it. We also ordered Brussel Sprouts as a side, and they are so darn good! Always cooked well, and the sauce is delicious. This is once dish that I appreciate where the salt is not noticeable and overwhelming. You can just enjoy the veg and thoughtfulness of their vinaigrette. My boyfriend ordered the chix sandwich. He loved it! Next time we might bring his beloved mustard so that he can adorn his sandwich and enhance it his way (lol!l, but that's just his thing. The sandiwch was lovely, and I dunno where Blue Glass gets their fries, but they are BOMB! So good. Had to stop myself from taking an order home. The restaurant is always CLEAN! Thank you!!! Please keep it that way! This establishment is 21 and up, so it's an adult outing venue. People who have complained that they cannot bring their children here, you should brush up on the Seattle laws. This restaurant doesn't have the room for the Seattle mandated rail that must separate the bar area from the rest of the tables, so they are in compliance for the space they have available. It's just that simple.I've noticed over the years that this establishment really tries to branch out and keep the dinner menu fresh and attempts new things, and while not everything is a home run, I love the passion and effort!Great neighborhood spot! Hope you'll go and enjoy!“
“While the drinks and food are good, this place could be better. Walked in when they were slightly busy (some tables filled, some empty) and received no acknowledgement from either staff in the open kitchen (they're some of the first to be seen walking in the door) or host. Waited long enough to consider walking out when the host finally recognized the line starting to form coming in the door (a couple parties arrived after me). Ended up getting seated and then proceeded to wait again to order. About the time I thought of just leaving, a server finally appeared to take drink orders and then food a bit later. She was great! Attentive and informative (I had questions about some of the menu items). Ultimately, this place could benefit from a host who is less discombobulated (stoned?) and spacing seating out a bit more (I get the maximizing seating and thus customers and profits, but feeling like the folks next to me were invading my space and conversation was majorly off-putting).“
“Grabbed a few appetizers to enjoy before an event at the art center. The food was good. I enjoyed my root beer. My husband ordered a mocktail and said it was okay. The atmosphere was nice. It was chill on the Sunday late afternoon when we visited. We will visit again to try other items on the menu.“
