This was a great find for Sunday lunch. There was much to choose from and I was pleased to see the Happy Hour menu was also something we could choose from. We were disappointed that the salmon that had been recommended to us was sold out - we'll try for that again. The goat cheese bruschetta was delicious. It was lovely to sit outside under the grape arbor. It was a perfect place for a slow lunch and the service was attentive and welcoming. We'll be back.
The server was so attentive and paid great attention to detail -- such as serving sparkling water in a parfait glass with a few blueberries tossed in -- and the food is consistently delicious. Loved the puttanesca! While the patio is lovely and has lots of shaded spots, it is very noisy with traffic and construction noises, so just prepare for that or choose to sit inside.
We always like Girardi's. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly but not pushy staff, dependably good food. This time? Penne pasta with 3 greens -- pesto, broccoli, and peas. Also pork loin Marsala. We always get the larger size and take home leftovers. And of course the limoncello mascarpone cake for dessert.
