Hosoonyi has a long history in the greater Seattle area Korean restaurant culture. I remember them as one of the first Korean restaurants I dine at decades ago. Perfectly okay Korean restaurant. Amongst all the dishes I ordered what stands out most is Grilled mackerels. They serve 3 pieces instead of usual two and looks like there were pan fried which is hard to replicate at home. They serve tons of banchans but in my opinion it is a waste and they should just focus on a few good banchans.
The food here is really good! The side dishes are great, they come on a large tray with lots of variety, and everything tastes fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back.
