It does exist !!! A eating establishment that does everything possible to have Organic & Local food! (Which is NOT the same as "gluten free or vegan Google!!!?!!) The only item that would need to be added is a few cushions on the seats, although they seem to have a good following of customers that take it to-go. The earth thanks you!Vegetarian options: AvailableDietary restrictions: Available

I fell in love a little bit. Perfect easy-going, DELICIOUS, lunch spot on a rainy March day. I’d list out what we ate but the menu changes “according to the chef’s mood” (and available local seasonal ingredients).Enjoy!

If you are a foodie, this is your place! Rotating menu with unique specials, such as Garbanzo PR Pastel, smoked albacore santiago sandwich. Cubano is amazing! Also, take care of gluten free and vegetarian folks! Local ciders and beers. Thanks Conor!

Everytime I come to this restaurant, I order the BBQ Tofu sandwich. It is so delicious and my go to!! Highly recommend!

Wonderful hole-in-the wall restaurant. Get your sandwich (seasonal menu) on an arepa (bonus: gluten free). House made sodas were great and a wide selection on beers and wine. What else could you ask for?

Maize & Barley host a great rotational menu that keeps you coming back! I recommend stopping by for a sandwich and a drink for most anyone with most any food restrictions (Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Egg Free, etc.). Their drink selection is great, especially for those who can't or don't want alcohol please try their homemade ginger or hibiscus soda!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and vegan options!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, soy free, and egg free options available.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp into the building.

Very clean and eclectic bathroom. I got the Cuban sandwich. They do NOT scrimp on the meat. My only complaint is I found the mustard a bit horrific. I assume it’s made fresh from the seeds + horseradish so props to them, but it was so bitter I had to scrape off my bread to enjoy the sandwich. Bit pricy but the quality is there.

Really good veggie burgers, soups and sodas. We particularly liked the burger with the ozette potatoes

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in the Seattle area. If you’re passing through, you can’t go wrong with the Midnight Cuban sandwich. It’s large and has loads of meat, so I had to get a box for later.

On the advice of neighbors, we decided to try Maize & Barley on a lovely Thursday afternoon. We were the only patrons there, and we each had a sandwhich... me the beef and Ky the eggplant. Both are unorthodox (as another yelper said) but delicious. I find myself resisting a 5 star review here, because everything just feels a little bit off, both the menu and the space and the staff behind the counter... and I can't really put my finger on it but I don't feel at all inspired to come back. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area, because it's really solid, but you won't be blown away, which is perfectly fine.

We went to this for it’s high rate but the food options wasn’t that much and also everything had so much pickles in it.The grilled pork sandwich were mostly burned but the grilled beef was good.Won’t go back to this place anymore.
