Salt and Iron is a delightful restaurant that serves amazing food. The 12oz New York steaks are cooked to perfection, and the garlic mashed potatoes are full of flavor. The smoked salmon dip is delicious, and the drinks are top-notch. The fish stew and risotto are excellent, and the service is great. The staff is gracious and helpful.
The food is excellent, with the pork chop and salads being particularly noteworthy. The restaurant also offers fascinating cocktails, including the recommended espresso martini. Customers appreciate the variety in the preparation of the pork chop. The food is super scrumptious, atmosphere is a very small town “homey” type feel. The dining areas are very bright with white walls and a ton of natural light. Staff is friendly, conversational and polite. The service was perfect, food was tasty and large portions (esp the popcorn chicken!). While the tables can feel a bit crowded, the overall dining experience is exceptional. The restaurant provides a paper bill at the end of the night.
