Terrible atmosphere. Horrible service. Overpriced food compared to the quality when compared to neighboring restaurants. We baked in the greenhouse/courtyard out back with no air movement. Our food came out of order and we had friends finish there dinner before other entrees were served. Over an hour wait after ordering. They will not split orders, they will not split checks according to what you ordered, they required a gratuity, they were out of beer and the food was meh... ok. One of our cocktails was very good and that's it. So dissatisfied and rarely leave critical feedback but this one deserves a warning. Especially to small groups. Find another establishment.

Most underrated restaurant in Edmonds. Great food, can always get a spot (even on a nice summer day), and surprisingly kid-friendly.

I've lived in Edmonds my entire life and have been to the Loft many times but not in a couple of years. We went there because they have a deck and we wanted to enjoy the sunshine with our meal. This was 6pm on a Tuesday and there was only a couple of people sitting inside the bar. We headed to the deck and the smaller tables were in the shade so we sat at one of the larger ones in the sun. They waitress came out and rudely informed us that we couldn't sit there because that was for larger parties. I told her we wanted to sit in the sun. She then grilled us whether or not we planned to eat there. We said yes, but what if we didn't want to eat and we're just there for drinks? Do we have to pass some sort of test before we get to sit where we want? There was no one out there besides us and she reluctantly agreed to let us sit there. I told her if some big parties came in we would move. She was so rude. After looking at the menu I asked her if a particular dish was good. She snapped at me and said everything was good there. We ordered a beet salad and clams to start but they were out of clams. Nothing really stood out on the menu but we both decided to order fish tacos. They were not good. They were extremely dry, I had ordered a second drink but didn't finish it because we just wanted to get out of there, we will not be back based on how we were treated and the food.

A definite must try! I had the Spanish octopus and it was cooked perfectly! The heirloom tomato salad was refreshing and full of fresh flavor! The crispy fried artichokes were so light and crispy and the sauce it sat on was flavorful! If you haven't been here get on it! Adorable restaurant. The name says it all! The owners, Niko and Paulette are amazing obviously and the waitress Brooke and the the bartender Deon were fabulous! Warm and inviting atmosphere. You're like family when you eat here! And trust the bartender! Tell him what you like and he'll make you the perfect drink!

Great dining experience and atmosphere in downtown Edmunds. The fish and chips were delicious! Expensive craft cocktail menu too. Warm outdoor seating is a plus!

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time last night. We walked in and there were only two other tables seated. Our server didn't introduce herself, was rude in her responses, forgot an item we asked for, and never came back to check on us. We had to go downstairs and ask for a check after being done with our food for 30 minutes. The food and drinks were amazing but unfortunately the service wasn't. I've worked in the food industry for years so I get it, but there were literally two other tables.

Have been coming here for a few months now and the HH is great. Great drinks and awesome bartender. He knows what to serve you before you know what you want. Chill vibe, good location.

The food was not good, service was too busy to take good care of all the bodies. Very disappointed, I visited this place a couple years ago pre-pandemic and was really good, now not so much. The bread served with the Artichoke dip was very weird and ruined the flavor of the dip. The Stuffed mushrooms wete Stuffed with mostly cream cheese, barely any crab. Overall, dissapointing and not a place I will return to

This place has a great atmosphere! Such a great place for drinks. They had fun garnishes and fancy drinks made by a mixologist. The bartender was an artist! The first time we went we only had drinks and they were good nothing to complain about. The second time we decided to try the food. The sliders and beat salad were amazing. The fish and chips not so much. Granted it was last call for food and I'm ordering fish and chips at a fancy cocktail bar. Maybe that was my mistake. Regardless of the disappointing fish and chips I'll still go back we've already been twice so that says something. The employees were super friendly each time and had great conversation with the bar tender! The bar was very inviting and they also have out door seating in the back. Highly recommend this spot.

Such a wonderful place to experience! We came on Valentine's Day and the service was exquisite! Every food item and drink we had was absolutely delicious. We had the buratta appetizer, the hamburger, and the spaghetti carbonara! I had the basil strawberry mule and my husband had a dirty martini, both were delightful! Our waitress was so sweet and we cannot wait to get back here and try their full menu! 12/10!

While visiting from New York City, wandering around the very charming downtown area of Edmonds, Washington, I stumbled upon The Loft, thinking it would be a nice spot for a glass of wine. To economize my review, I'll just say this...what a great dining and drinking experience! I was welcomed in with a great selection of wines. Having a lot of time to kill, I chose a bottle of the Megan Anne Willamette Valley Pinot...what a treat! Now hungry, I ordered the Cedar Planked King Salmon, with asparagus and mashed potatoes, with a side of bread. Two foods I have found that are often misprepared....salmon and asparagus. But, not at the Loft....both were perfectly prepared with an incredible Burre Blanc and capers sauce. Perhaps the best salmon and asparagus in my 56 years! And the bread? Best I've had in years...certainly on the West Coast. My server was a charming and very knowledgeable young lady named Brooke who seemed almost more like a new friend than a helpful server! I also had the pleasure of meeting the proprietor, Niko, who was a warm and welcoming host...with great stories and entertaining banter with his staff in English as well as his native Greek. I didn't know what they were talking about...but it was hilarious to watch! I've spent over thirty five years wandering around towns and cities all over the world looking for great little places like the Loft. Great food, excellent drink selection, incredible service and a lot of fun!

This is such a fun place to come on a Friday afternoon. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and easy to get a seat. We had fish tacos and crabcakes and the temperature on the seafood was sizzling hot and all of the sides were nice and cool. I never would've noticed the temperature but this place really had it down right. Like most places in Seattle this crabcake was approximately 80% scrumptious and fresh crab and some bread for the rest. I have had crabcakes all over United States and they're usually 80% bread and 10% crap.

Can recommend for a small intimate dinner, good drinks and service. Love that they ran floor heaters out on the courtyard, I've never seen that in a restaurant, but I'm also from LA! The hosts/servers were accommodating when we walked in without a reservation, this was on a weeknight but they were still busy. Menu is pretty limited with a little bit of everything. We shared the burger and shrimp salad, mainly because we saw this is what most other tables were ordering and we were happy to find out why, both were good.

Great apps and amazing cocktails. On the sunny side of the street too! Also, Tate, sup?

I have been to The Loft many times, as I enjoy their outdoor dining and the food menu options. They've added additional outdoor dining in the front since the pandemic, though I don't like the layout of it. I haven't ever dined inside because the inside is really small. While they have a lot of variety on the drink menu, I've found the cocktails tend to taste a bit watered down. I've enjoyed all of the food I've tried at The Loft for the most part. My favorites are the truffle fries and the sliders. The main reason I am giving three stars is because the people who work there aren't very friendly or service oriented in my experience. The service tends to be slow and they don't seem to care. It seems like the waiters have too many tables to wait on at once, though it's been like this throughout the years I've been there. Last time we were there, the waiter forgot about us after our food arrived. We had to remind her to bring boxes and our check a couple of times. She didn't apologize for how long everything took. This is an on par service experience for this restaurant. If the service were quicker and people friendlier, I'd give a higher rating and enjoy it much more.
