“An excellent burger with real fries! This is an old school road house with a small general store attached. Even though it was very busy with people heading out camping or other fun stuff, the lone employee managed to make me feel like a local. Delicious!“
“Coming out of the hot plains we hit a bend in the road in Waterville, WA. Getting a little hungry we wondered what options would be available in this small rural town of tractors and trees. Thankfully we spied this little place near the end of the street. We enjoy a shady spot under the umbrella out on the thin patio. Service was great and so was the food. So glad we happened up this oasis in the middle of the parched prairie.“
“People couldn't be nicer! Friendly and polite. Never over or under doing service. Even the menu is written in a friendly manner! Food is very good. Freshly prepared and nicely seasoned. I strongly recommend the beer-battered fries. Also the soups...tomato basil and split pea when we were there. For vegans, note that there was cheese in my tomato soup. You could probably ask to have it without that. Couple of vegetarian options. That was nice! You won't go away hungry. “We were extremely surprised by this place! It surpassed all of our expectations. The service was great (Chris was our waiter and he was so friendly and attentive), the drinks we delicious and COLD, the music was great, and the food was amazing!! My husband is extremely critical when it comes to restaurant food and he said this place gives 5 star restaurants a run for their money. We will definitely be making road-trips from Seattle to come back here again. Would definitely recommend it to everybody!!“
