“A hidden gem! I've been to Old World Chophouse several times in the past year and absolutely love the food craftsmanship. The chef is extremely talented with cooking steak and the seasonal side dishes are alway a delight. The staff is wonderful with their care and positivity. The ambiance is very rustic and cozy. It's the perfect relaxing restaurant to get an incredible meal after a long day of hiking the mountains.“
“This has been one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Leavenworth in a long time . Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a few other restaurants here in town but this was such an unexpected treat!! I have lived here 6 years or so so have exhausted the restaurant list, including this one!! But this last visit, something had changed. They have a new way to work their menu which expands options and it total genius and at the same time they have simplified things. All my food was divine, slathered in their house-made hot sauce, and theCocktails were so delicious as well!! I will definitely be returning sooner than later and I recommend you do the same!“
“Absolutely amazing food! Everything tastes so fresh and delicious. We made a reservation so we were sat immediately and the food did not take long to come out. Definitely will be returning, one of the best restaurants I’ve been to!Dietary restrictions: Almost their whole menu is or can be made gluten & dairy free!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere with a great kids menu“
“Traveling through town looking for a good bar to spend some money and time at. Met the owner who was super fun and welcoming. The bar tenders that helped us Jesus and Ivan were amazing and fast. We ended up meeting some people there who were also passing through for the night. We left and tried a different bar and that bar didn’t come close to service as ducks and drake. This will forever be our spot when we come for a visit.“
“Food & drinks: Don’t miss the bratwurst and the Squirrel Burger (not made from squirrel LOL) at the restaurant bar. A huge 12 oz burger with ham slices and bacon served on a hoagie roll. Good to share with friends. Say hello to Sarah the bartender.“
“In the morning, they have such yummy donuts! And then lunch and dinner- never been disappointed. They used to have steak strips which were divine but this last time I tried the Reuben and oh my gosh, may be the best one I’ve ever had. The okra was also delicious and my husband’s chicken sandwich was excellent as well. Such a GREAT option for Plain. Lucky to have them there.Kid-friendliness: They have crayons and a kids menu.“
“Great service! We came around 10:15am, & got a table immediately with no wait. We ordered the French toast with German sausage, & the biscuits & gravy with country sausage. The gravy was a little watery & bland, but the biscuits were good. Our favorite was definitely the German Sausage. Very delicious.Great place to grab a quick bite to eat & next to everything. Reasonably priced as well !“
“The waitress so so kind and welcoming. It’s hard to know what kind of service you’re going to get in a tourist town. But she was the best. She checked on us frequently and was speedy if we did need anything. The only thing we were bummed about was no seats near the windows for us to look out. Maybe that’s on purpose so anyone can look out not just the people seated at the window. Everything else was great!“
“What a delightful find after journeying through the mountains between Snohomish and Leavenworth! We didn't expect to step into a time capsule back to the 1950s, but the atmosphere here is simply fantastic! Great service, wonderful music, delicious yet straightforward dishes, and the milkshake was excellent! I highly recommend it!“
“Neat place, great customer service, lots of beers on tap, decent food.I stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night and returned Friday night for a drink. Good lively atmosphere, especially on the weekend. The beertenders were awesome, and helped me navigate a massive draft list. I had the German poutine, and fish and chips for dinner. The food was pretty good, but nothing super special. I’ll definitely return if I’m in Leavenworth.“
“This is a rather unassuming place, downstairs. You order at the counter and go find a table. There is absolutely nothing interesting in the decor. No ambiance. Service was terrific. The woman at the counter was so friendly. Our food and drinks were ready very quickly. They were sold out of the tomato soup, so we had pea soup. It was quite good. (But not as good as mine!) Our sandwiches were quite tasty. It was a bit expensive for what we got, but that's the norm these days. This was a good stop for a quick lunch!“
“I have to give this place a high rating because it was Christmas day and they were a busy as I've ever seen a restaurant be. We waited over an hour to get seated and then possibly another hour for our food, but I don't think it would have been possible for them to do a better job. I sure hope they were tipped very well and paid huge bonuses for their dedication and having to miss their own family Christmas. Oh, they were also one of the only restaurants open in town!“
“Solid date spot when we visited Leavenworth for the weekend! “We have eaten at Mana twice and plan to again in May. Everything is perfection. I’m not sure there is anywhere in the state that can come close. The food is beautiful and delicious, they cater to any food related health issues, the environment is gorgeous & the servers actually know everything about what they’re serving you. I feel really grateful to have a restaurant as special as this near me.“
