“A permanent food truck on Snoqualmie Pass, perfect for a quick stop on the way back from weekend adventures.The teriyaki chicken bowl was simple and tasty (just chicken and rice, they offered to add some peppers). The chicken strips were pretty standard and the fries were really tasty... They were double fried or battered, hot and crispy.I enjoyed the vibe, with outdoor uncovered, outdoor covered, and indoor seating options available. Gas firepits on most of the tables too, which makes a cozy atmosphere after snowshoeing/skiing in the winter.Located outside Dru Bru, there's plenty of free parking but does get busy on weekends. “A chilled beer and a Philly cheese steak sandwich amidst skii sessions. I was so tired that it tasted amazing. They do have some cocktail options. We all got the same sandwich with chips. I took a stout, my wife had a bud lite and my friend got a Moscow mule. Pretty decent and service was fast as it was late for a Sunday skii. It has views of the skii area so it's a pretty nice place to chill. Although the variety of food is a bit less but otherwise pretty good.“
“Went on the evening of the last day of the season at the Summit, after a small hike.Very quiet, peaceful, and the server was a sweetheart. We were one of two tables. This place is no frills and I love it, it fulfills a need. I haven’t ever been in during full swing of ski season, so I can’t speak for the atmosphere then.I ordered a bowl of chicken soup and Swedish Pancakes with blueberry compote. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot and I recommend the pancakes with compote for sure.If you’re expecting hip, trendy, food or ambiance, this is not for you. It feels like places I stopped in when traveling when I was a kid, with my family; nostalgic diner with the right level of 90s kitsch.I’ll absolutely be coming here during the summer to fuel up and carb load before my hikes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.“
“I want to take a minute to give a huge high five to Bryson! Though I was not a customer at Commonwealth, I found myself in quite a pickle. After visiting summit. I accidentally left my wallet at the Chevron close by the Commonwealth and didn't realize it until I was nearly home to Wenatchee. After calling the Chevron several times and not getting an answer, I was starting to panic. So I called the Commonwealth and luckily for me Bryson answered the phone. After I explain my situation. I asked him if he would please go to the gas station and see if he could find my wallet. Not only did he find my wallet, he took the time to go to the post office the next day and mail it back to me! Bryson is friendly and helpful and a genuinely great guy. I'm going to make it a point to stop by the Commonwealth and meet him next time I'm heading through summit. I want to make sure to leave this review so that his boss is to know what an excellent job they did and hiring this young man and I hope that they appreciate what a valuable employee they have. I definitely appreciate him.“
