“Visited for first time, August 29 2024. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“Honestly, I did not expect this alehouse to serve food this good.

I was a little surprised when I saw a Monte Cristo on the menu, since that's not something you see at all - let alone in a bar. I ended up getting it, and it was surprisingly solid.
It's kind of a mix between a French Toast and a ham sandwich. The bread is very French toast-like, being dipped in egg, grilled, and topped with powdered sugar. Meanwhile, the inside has deli meat and cheese.

This mix worked really well here. The bread was very fluffy, crispy, and well-toasted. I didn't get *too* much of an egg flavor, but I got enough that it would suffice as an average French toast bread.
What was nice, though, was how well the cheese melted on the inside. The ham and turkey tasted great as a combination with the cheese.
I got saltiness, sweetness, and savoriness from each bite.
The jam that they provided for dipping also just added to the unique experience of it all.

For a side, I had the macaroni salad, which I also really enjoyed.
The price ended up being around $24, which was a little expensive but not terrible.

Overall, this was interesting food to have at an alehouse that was actually pretty solid. 8/10“

This cozy meeting place is one of the reasons so many generations return to living in this neighborhood.“

“I went with my friends a couple weeks ago and had the nicest time. I had the Brick Chicken and mash potatoes and it was delicious. the Brownie was oohie gooie good too. “Had to leave a review for the beyond-excellent service from our server today, Kimberley! From start to finish Kimberley was very enthusiastic and friendly, and answered all my questions about things on the menu. Along with some other dishes, we ordered a pasta that was perhaps not to our taste and K was very perceptive and noticed our dissatisfaction without us saying anything. We were already impressed with her and she went even beyond this and caught us as we were leaving to apologise for the dish. We're very very impressed and haven't seen this level of service in any restaurant in the PNW, and we've been eating from Tacoma to Vancouver! For this alone, we will be back! “It was a rainy day and my BF and I had planned to have lunch together the day before. So we decided to go the Blazing Onion as I had always wanted to try it.
Being vegetarian is sometimes hard to find a place that has options for burgers and this place has a few options which is great. I ended up getting the Impossible burger and onion petals on the side and my BF got the Blazing Onion burger and fries. He also ordered us an order of mozzarella sticks. For drinks we had water and I got a Blueberry Lime Fizz and he got Raspberry Lemonade. The water had a lemon slice which was a nice touch.
I have to say that the mozzarella sticks were delicious and cheesy and the marinara sauce was pretty good too. The burgers came and it was amazing!! I ate it all in record time lol. The bun was perfectly toasted as well. I had no complaints on the burger. The onion petals were ok. When I usually see something say beer battered I never taste the beer, this you could. The only issue was they were soggy.
My BF enjoyed his food and the drinks were very good too. Service was great as well. I will go to Blazing Onion again, it was really good. But what made it stellar was the person I shared the experience with, he is amazing.“

“A complete wonderful experience on a Tuesday after 6:00 pm. There was ample parking available. We appreciated the menu options and added availability of gluten-free pasta, which were explained by the server. The chef did a great blend of spices with the foods. So, we opted for shareables with salads, which matched well with a 2021 Tempranillo from Yakima, WA. Service was excellent and the weather ideal for sitting outside.“

“This place offers a rare Latin breakfast menu item called Migas and oh man is it good. The wait staff are all friendly and your cup is never empty. The atmosphere is like a cozy small diner/family kitchen and it is relaxing and laid back. And as a rare tea drinker, I can say that while they charge the same as other places for tea, they serve super high quality English breakfast tea, which was delightful. “Fun little dive bar in a strip mall. I've only been for weekday lunch, but the beer is good, food is really good, and the dive bar atmosphere gets upscale with office chairs. I've had the grinder and Cuban and both were great with lots of fries/tots/onion rings too accompany. We also had a shrimp in a spicy cream sauce appetizer that was really good. The pizza was good, but I much preferred the sandwiches.“

Art Deco vibes, cozy booths, and a game store that feels more like a boutique hotel lounge. I had the Golden Curry & Tofu—Japanese-style curry over rice with potatoes, carrots, tofu, and pickled vegetables. Warm, flavorful, and exactly what I was in the mood for. My friends ordered the Sausage & Pepper Rotini and left just as happy. The only curveball? No mocktails listed on the menu. When I asked, our server looked a little unsure but offered to make a virgin Momotaro with ginger, peach, mint, lemon, and ginger beer. It was fantastic—definitely worth ordering again. Still, a mocktail section on the menu wouldn’t hurt. After lunch I wandered through the shop and ended up picking out a couple of games for our next game night. Couldn’t resist. All in all, a great lunch, great space, and a solid reminder to check out places that mix things up. Overall fun spot. So happy we found this place. Would happily return. “Took my parents to dinner at DeLille Restaurant and all 4 of us had a great experience. For starters, the ambience is a cool mix of 'winery' and 'restaurant' and even though the space is large, is was surprisingly easy for the 4 of us to have a conversation without yelling! (Big win with older folks). The service staff was all outstanding and very engaging. The wine was (of course) excellent. The food....was divine!
We ordered several items and shared them all:
Brussel sprouts - we all agreed we would go back just based on those alone!
Caesar salads - perfect dressing
Steak Frites - maybe the best fries ever and the steak was delicious
Beef Tenderloin and Pork Tenderloin entrees- each had perfect sauce (are you seeing a trend? :-) and the accompanying sides were all great too.
