La Palmera Family Mexican Restaurant

After being a loyal customer here for 25+ years, not sure we'll be back. The food was over cooked but not the first time but the real issue was the service. We have always had good service by a few servers but things have changed, Our server Friday night was okay a little slow but when we asked for our regular after dinner drink that we have every Friday, she the bartender did not know how to make it. Hum, we have had it for about a year so we asked for Expresso Martini off there menu. Waited 10 min, then we were told they didn't have the ingredients although it is on your menu. Then we were told that you could make our special coffee drink and So I asked for your Expresso Martini Then we were told by our server that you didn't have the ingredients which is on your menu. Then we were told that you could make our special coffee drink and waited 40 minutes and were told several times, just a few more minutes. Again and again. After 30 min we never got our drinks and left.

The food was amazing. The plates are huge so it's definitely a great quantity for the price. The service was awesome as well. The food comes out quick we hardly even had any wait time. All together I was extremely satisfied.

The quesabirria and guac were delicious! Fantastic service.

Everyone is very polite, professional, attentive, and best of all as a fellow Mexican the food was bomb.com. I loved it and for a rainy day I had a great experience feeling cozy and with good ambience. Thank you staff for your hard work.

The food is dry I ordered tacos Al pastor meat was dry and cut on big chunks tortillas were breaking also I ordered a burrito they put crazy amounts of rice also dry they put few pieces of meat I paid for extra meat and they didn’t put any also they have bad attitude and the girls they are rude is a really bad service and food is terrible

Came in for a drink and appetizer. The food is always good and the servers are usually very nice but on this night the bartender was incredibly rude basically snapped at us everytime we needed anything (we didn't need more than a bag for chips to take to go) because she said they closed at 9 at 815 and rushed us out. All in all very disappointed and wanted the owner to know this will make me go somewhere else next time. I'm sure you're paying her well she should represent your establishment with a better attitude.

Overall it was a great and wonderful experience, staff were so kind and made you feel welcomed!

Kid-friendliness: We came in with our special needs toddler, and needed kind of a quite place for senscory needs, they were so understanding and the accommodated the best they could! It was perfect.! We appreciated it so much !! Highly recommend!
