The food is just not close to traditional flavors. It is some sort of Philippino rendition of Ecuadorean food. Not worth the drive. The price is just too high for something so mediocre.

Riquisiiiimo! The fact that some dummy took the time to write a huge one star review concerns me. The encebollado and arroz con menestra were so good. They share building with a Filipino restaurant which gives it a weird speak easy / supper club vibe. I loved that haha COME EAT HERE!! VIVA EL ECUADOR!

The first Ecuadorean restaurant in the Seattle area. The food is delicious but most dishes are from the costal region of Ecuador. Still, not many places to have food from home and this one hits the spot. Highly recommend it if you’ve never tried Ecuadorean. Start with the Encebollado! You will not be disappointed.

I am from Ecuador, Guayaquil and I loved the encebollado. I had a long time without eating an encebollado and the one from my beautiful Ecuador was delicious. Thank you for having a little piece of our gastronomy in Washington,

The food is super good, and if they ask me for a recommendation I will always say shrimp ceviche and balloon with steak, the waitress who served me was super attentive and charismatic... I will definitely go again??

I've never had Ecuadorian food before, so I was a little hesitant to try something new, but they did NOT disappoint. The plantains were amazingly sweet, the goat was great, and the service was impeccable. My friend that I brought with me was from Ecuador and it made him think of his grandmother. I will definitely be back. It was worth the 3 hour drive.

Recommended by our ecuatorian friends. Great authentic Ecuatorian comfort food ?. Every plate that we tried was great. We tried ceviche, arroz marinero, bolon, encobollado, and seco de chivo. Staff is super friendly and eager to answer every question.

As an Ecuadorian living dad away from home, hearing that there’s Ecuadorian food 20 minutes away I was so happy! We got there and it was a little bit confusing since there is a Philippino kitchen in the same room. The food was just like at home so it really made me happy. I would call before going there since a couple times that I have visited they’re close or they don’t show up even tho it says they’re open. They are a very new restaurant so I understand how hard it might be but it is totally worth to try it!

Please do not be misguided by the pictures and good reviews. I am from Ecuador and can cook better than that with my eyes closed. Any person who hadn’t eaten good Ecuadorian food can say it is delicious because they don’t know any better. Here is my aweful experience. Not too please with our experience $27 for a dish "bandera" which is supposed to be three different dishes and for the price I thought it would be a decent size but the size was small: 3 shrimps, 2 slices of fish not even the size of a chicken finger but 1/5 of that for the encebollado part some tiny yuca (which was flavorless), the goat small cubes about 6 which was ok but the rice was blend just light yellow. It was sad tbh.On top of that, the service was very unprofessional the young waitress had weird mannerism's as if she was miserable to be there. She was in a hurry to take our order although the restaurant was empty. As I told her my order she was making faces of being upset. The worst part that made us uncomfortable was her leaning over with a low cut shirt which exposed her front breast as we could see the bra underneath her shirt as she folder her back forward to take the order and put the notepad on the table so she can write while facing my male companion.I looked at her face and she was acting as nothing and I looked at my companion which was very embarrassed and looked away instead. Very uncomfortable. I felt so disrespected by her dare and audacity. I have a degree in hospitality and travel management as well as worked as a waitress in known restaurant and I understand this is a small family business but we felt harassed by her behavior.Furthermore, at some point I noticed she looked into my companion eyes deeply in a creepy way although I was the one ordering and nobody else was talking to her after the weird event mentioned previously.Restaurant was empty with the whole time we were there. The waitress was on her phone sitting on a table near us sending wassap voicemails and gossiping about something while whispering her voice messages and eating McDonald's burgers and fries next to us lolI was waiting for her to come give us the check but was so busy on her phone so I asked for the check. Finally, as I pulled my card to pay I was told they don't take cards, instead cash or Zelle. My companion had to got to a 7/11 to get cash. After we paid, she was banging something to the register all to give me $7 back as a change including quarters. Some thoughts: Most of my friends are small restaurants business owners, chefs, waiting staff, people in the service industry. All my 18 years in the USA never had an experience as unpleasant and disrespectful as this. After the third display of rudeness I felt like getting up and leaving but decided to stay to give the flavor a try and honestly anyone can cook better at home than this.Place was ok looking but it was hot extremely hot their fan was on and we still sweating and sticky due to the heat inside the place.
