As a result of eating Gamjatang at the store and having Sundaeguk and Seonji Haejangguk all wrapped in togo, everything was not seasoned properly, and except for Gamjatang, the taste was so much lower than before that it had to be Haejangguk. I was really disappointed because it tasted neither this nor that. I remember having a delicious meal when I went there before, but it was a disappointing visit as all that flavor was gone.

I ordered seonji hangover soup and sundae hangover soup, but the ingredients are different and the base is the same. It's not a specialty store.

Came in here to try out their stews for lunch and I am so glad I did. This nice lady was the only waitress at the place but she gave great service with the refills and checked on us often. The food was delicious. One of the pork shoulder spicy dish was really spicy. I had difficulty eating it. I guess they did say spicy. The brisket stew was such a great comfort food for a rainy day. There's also little Korean sides like kimchi, picked radishes, rice cakes etc. That they will gladly refill for you. Overall. Great little hidden gem.

I stay recommending this spot to my friends! Fed has no shortage of amazing Korean food and this spot adds to it! Their gamjatang is HELLA BOMB. Huge chunks of tender meat and the broth is soooo good. My parents go to spot for soondae-guk for 8 years! Free parking lot.

Great service. The server kept checking on our table and served two kinds of water, warm and cold. We got lucky to have some cut apples for free dessert as we were the only table.I love their food too. Their menu is intentionally simple, which is common for specialized restaurants in Korea. It really brings me the tastes of the Korean food I long for! Their porkbone soup(gamjatang) is hands down my favorite Korean soup in town. I like the variety of their side dishes too

Originally wanted Korean soup with fish but the restaurant we were going to shut down so we came here. Not very busy as there was only two other tables in there, all Koreans. There is a bit of a language barrier with the waitress so just show pictures or point to whatever on the menu. My friend asked for the beef broth with brisket and tripe but wanted to add tendon but she didn't understand and it didn't come with tendon added. I ordered the pork neck broth with potatoes. Portion size is huge. Luckily I shared my bowl and gave my friend half or else I wouldn't have finished it. Love all the side dishes, especially the kimchi on top of a spoonful of soup rice and meat. Went really well together. Perfect balance of flavor and she gave spicy paste on the side if we wanted to add more seasoning. Prices are cheap too for what you get! Definitely recommend this place for a nice rainy day.

I got Ox blood soup to go, and it was good. I've been looking for Ox blood soup for a while so I was happy to find this restaurant. They packaged the food really well. The price point isn't ideal, but I don't think this place is more expensive than others in Federal Way.

Once again, I'm reviewing a really quaint little Korean restaurant. Today I ordered Soondae Seonji Soup. This was an amazing soup. The blood sausage was just like I remember when I tried it in South Korea. The Ox blood was nice and had a delicious light bitterness to it. There were plenty of sprouts and I added my rice to the dish. There were also nice chunks of tripe in it . The Banchan was perfect for this kind of soup, all of my favorite ones. The restaurant is located in the back of a few mini strip mall buildings. It's really a nice cozy little place. It's clean and the service was fast . As always I love to practice the Korean language when I go to new places. The waitress was very polite and had a smile when serving my food. This is kind of an unusual food but it is out of this world delicious. Great Great Great Job.

This restaurant is well known for their Korean traditional hangover soups. The food is consistently delicious and they have a simple menu with the same soup with different meat choices. The beef brisket is probably a safe choice for people who have never had this soup before. Service is always quick and staff are friendly.

Writing this review on my way home from this place. I came here straight here from the airport. After a 10 hour layover in Korea. I looked up a famous soondae soup house in the kalgooksoo alley of namdaemoon market. I thought I was finally going to find a bowl of soup to dethrone this place. Nope. Did not even come close. Not to say I haven't had many other bowls of soup that compete with this place. But Yangpyung is truly a solid spot and very thankful to live within driving distance of it.
