I've been to this location a few times and it's been disappointing that their always out of things I want. It's very limited in selection. What they do have is always tasty but definitely prefer the Southcenter location over this one.

I been live in Federal Way for 7 years and I am a loyal customer of this bakery for 7 years but today I actually had a bad experience. I bought some pastries and a drink totally about 23$ then I refer to pay by cash with 2 of 20$ bills equal 40$, then the cashier gave me back 1$ and some pennies, I was so confused and told her nicely that maybe she forgot that I gave her 40$, she told me that oh no, I just gave her 25$, I told her “are you sure? Because I remember I gave you 2 of 20$ bill equal 40$.” She stared at me then she stared at the cashbox real quick then said “oh yes, I am sure. You gave me a 20$ bill and a 5$ bill”. That made me so sad and embarrassing because a lot of customers looked at me as I was a liar. I did not want to make it a big deal so I told her that “ok, i’m fine” because I did not want people kept looking at me while I was waiting for my drink. Please next time if this situation happen again, tell the cashiers to check the security camera, I do not want this thing will happen to me or other people again. Thank you.

My debit card information was stolen from this location. My card was scanned and then used later for a withdrawal.

Pretty bad experience. Put in a mobile order while in line. After waiting for my drink at the counter for 30 mins I watched multiple people get their orders after only 8 minutes. When I asked they told me they had been doing all of the walk in orders and didn't start mine because I didn't "let them know i was there" which I wasn't given any indication i needed to.

The food is great but the coffee was honestly horrible. Definitely go for the pastries and baked goods but steer clear of the coffee.

Came all the way from Lakewood to get some good bakeries. Asked for a white chocolate strawberry cup that they sell by the front of the cashier and the cashier ELI forgot to take it out and put it in the bag. Just got home and found out.. very irresponsible

Love 85° but they need a strong manager up front to resolve disputes and kick out the homeless. This afternoon 2 out of the 4 tables were occupied by homeless dozing off and the entire place had a nauseating strong urine smell. Not only is it scaring off customers, it prevents them from dining in.

Wife called to confirm a red velvet cake and ask some questions. They said yes to having the cake available and a second later without notice was placed on hold.

They forgot my order, I had to wait 35 minutes for a cup of coffee and a pastry, then when I got my order it didn’t taste like coffee despite me asking for two extra shots and it tasted like water! I also ordered pannetone which is an Italian fruit cake made with yeast sort of like brioche but what I got tasted like a muffin topped with sliced almonds, panettone has a smooth top that is brushed with egg and then baked. The entire order was a waste of money!! No one ever got back to me!!

I had a terrible experience ordering from this store, and it will definitely be my last time. I placed an online order for a Deluxe Chocolate Mousse cake around 2 PM for pickup at 6:30 PM for my daughter’s birthday. The order was confirmed, and I didn’t hear anything further, so I assumed it would be ready as scheduled.
When I arrived at the store at 6:40 PM, the staff couldn’t find my order or even locate my receipt. To make matters worse, they didn’t have the cake ready. Instead, they offered me a choice between two other cakes (red velvet or strawberry, neither of which I like) or a refund—without any apology or clear explanation for the mishap. The only thing they mentioned was that the order should not have been accepted in the first place. This was an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Affordable, fresh, and delicious bread/cakes/drinks. Plenty of cake selections and flavors, plenty of pastries to choose from, caffeinated drinks and non-caffeinated drinks are in the menu as well. You can order drinks at the kiosk to skip the line. There are a few tables inside the cafe to wait for your order or to just hang out. I love their Vietnamese coffee!!! It’s the only reason I go here. I try to go when I work bc it’s literally down the street! Highly recommended when you happen to be in Federal Way!

I never had to wait 30 minutes for a cup of coffee that wasn't even worth waiting for. My very first time ordering coffee here and it was not worth it. The staff had 4 customers including myself waiting for our drinks which took more than 20 minutes and they weren't even apologetic for making us wait.
The Tukwila location is busier than this location and coffee is always nice and worth it, the staff overall is always friendly and quick.

Service was very friendly and quick B U T there is not enough seating or tables, the chairs are very small & uncomfortable, it’s loud inside AND there is NO customer Wi-Fi?!? Also $6.38 for a mediocre boba milk tea? Please. How does this place even qualify as a cafe?
