OMGoodness. What a delightful surprise. I am almost reluctant to share this info. We are from out-of-town, and dropped in to Billy’s for lunch. What we selected was the “California Chicken Salad”. WOW - the presentation of this salad is gorgeous. The taste of everything in it is spectacular. We ate as much of it at lunch, with enough left over for lunch the next day. We will travel back there from home to experience it again. The total cost per person, including soft-drinks and 20% tip was $30/person. It was so worth it.

The food and alcohol were not good. The quality of our experience overall was not good. The menu selection was not good. The bartenders service after the drink was returned was not good. We will not be back.

I have been a regular customer here for over twenty years, coming in at least once , sometimes two or three times a month. I enjoy most of the employees , and the food is always consistently good. I did have to take a few stars though.... and here's why...

I love their ranch dressing and I often pay for extra when I do take out but i'm not charged for extra when I dine in usually. Unless I want to take some home and it's usually an extra couple of dollars.
Recently, though, the manager who has been there for many years, has decided.It's cute to charge me $5.95 for a 5 oz side of ranch.

I don't mind paying for it, but this seems excessive.Especially for a customer that has been coming for over twenty years.

It's Probably not going to stop me coming, Because I have my certain things i definitely crave and enjoy there , but it is very disappointing.

Service Dog denied access-My wife has a diabetic service dog which is carried in a bag - I have contacted legal counsel.

Didn't eat there. Went there many times in past. Excited when we got there on a Monday evening. Very dark in the room and no one at the tables. Only a few at the bar. And cook standing at kitchen door. We choose to not stay. It made us very uncomfortable about what our experience was going to be.

Great food including burgers, sandwiches, salads and a large bar. The restaurant is somewhat hidden but worth hunting for. It's never been too full to easily get a table.

Are Thunderbird car club has an annual Christmas party every year we went to Black Bear the manager there which is the weekday manager said no problems we paid extra for the room and when the day of the party the weekend manager said it wasn't allowed and that it was not available and we would have to wait. Call Billy McHale's talked with Ryan he said no problems they're going to accommodate 40 people service was excellent food was excellent and we will have our party there again next year. So black bear lost 40 customers and 40 tips

Loved everything about the place

More bar than restaurant. Food was just meh. Nothing to make me want to go back. Waitress was overly chatty and hyper but sweet none the less. I had asked if the blackened salmon was spicy and was told no; it was so spicy for me I couldn't eat it and they where kind enough to remove it from the bill.

I really just came here to review the service - our waitress on Sunday at lunch was cheerful, helpful, prompt, quick, and attentive. I really enjoyed my first lunch there in a few years.

Wonderful experience every time. Incredible staff and owner. Always great to the customers. Onion loaf, cobb salad, and cheeseburger.

Food is good but service is slow

Food has went downhill 😕 I ordered a prime rib dip loaded and everything was cold, seemed like they made it & forgot to send it out. My friends margarita couldn't be blended & the wings were meh need some seasoning. I hope this was just that night but eating out is not cheap, so you would HOPE they would at least try. I miss the old days when ppl cared about serving good food ... only way I would return was because we had an amazing waitress, Loke. She was amazing
