The owner gave me some Philly ice water to try while I waited. Everything I tried was delicious! The fried okra pulled way above it's weight class, I wish I could have a side of it at every restaurant.

The greens were good but could have had a little bit more seasoning. The cod breading didn't stick to the fish so you couldn't have it together and it also needed seasoning. Hush puppies and the bean pies were good. Service was great. I think they should just add some more seasonings to their recipes and it would be good.

food alone was great but they had water ice in there, i tried grape n lemon, strawberry, n orange n lime and it was a 10/10 i definitely recommend coming here not alone for the food but for the water ice!! the guy who served us the water ice was so amazing and such a positive laid back guy and made the experience 10x better. 100% recommend to all :) (water ice was also dairy free great for my lactose intolerance pals)
