I'm not sure but I think they have a new cook or manager
The fish pieces are smaller skinnier that's no surprise 🫢
Just don't order those add on's for $3.99 bay shrimp $ onion rings the little bags they used to put them in were drenched in grease and I bit into a onion ring and the onion was full of grease 😲 spit that out right away in my napkin.

I ordered their 5 piece cod and a side of cornbread. I haven't been to an Ivar's in years, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet. It was nice sitting down at a restaurant and not being bombarded by loud music. The interior is small, but the seats are still roomy. I would post a pic of my food, but I ate it.

This is a very good Ivar's location. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the food was very good. I ordered the Jumbo Prawns (shrimp) with chips/fries, they were exceptional. If you want some quick and delicious seafood, this is a great choice.
