I’ve loved Ivar’s clam chowder for a minute. I usually eat it on the ferry. I once went to the restaurant and enjoyed it very much. Ordered more than clams. Today, I had my first in- house fast take with the grounded Ivar’s. Another amazing experience with this fine establishment. We ordered the chowder, the prawns, the Cole slaw and the Caesar salad. My good god. Nailed it. The freshest prawns. The crispest Cole slaw. Amazing. Hats off to the people...

Always a great place to go🤤 they make an amazing fish sandwich. You can get it Cajun style. They got it wrong and immediately fixed it. Its a very wholesome atmosphere and the food is delicious no matter what you get. Try the chowder for sure though.

The best Ivar's located in Federal Way. Easy walking distance to the 1 Line Train, take a trip to the end of the line and saunter over to Ivar's for lunch or dinner. Interesting businesses nearby to investigate before or after eating. Always great clams, fish, and shrimp cocktail. Now with an expanded dessert menu and more sides.
