My wife and I had Valentine’s Day dinner at Mama Stortini’s, and I’ll
start with this: the food was great. Flavor was there. Portions were
solid. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. No complaints at all
about what came out of the kitchen.

Now… the rest of the experience.

We were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation time, which on Valentine’s Day I understand can happen. It’s busy. It’s high volume. But when you take reservations, there’s an expectation that timing is at least somewhat respected.

Then we were placed at a table about 18 inches from a side door. I’m not exaggerating when I say if I moved my arm out even slightly, I hit the wall. The table next to us was less than two feet away. On a night that’s supposed to feel intimate, it felt cramped and rushed. Not romantic. Not relaxed. Just tight.

It honestly felt like too many reservations were accepted for the
space available. I get maximizing a holiday, but there has to be a
balance. Capping reservations and planning seating a little better
would’ve made a big difference in the overall experience.

Again, the food? Strong.
The atmosphere that night? Way too packed for comfort.

If the seating had matched the quality of the kitchen, it would’ve
been a top-tier Valentine’s dinner.

I reached out directly to the restaurant and after my email was read numerous times between now and then with no response, I am leaving this review.

We arrived earlier at 1:15pm, gave our order within 5 mins of being seated. The restaurant is not busy. At 1:39pm the food still wasn't served, we only ordered a burger and salmon. We followed up on the order and was told by our server that the new cook threw away the ticket by mistake. We just asked for the food to be packed, it was packed with no utensils not even napkins, so after waiting 45 mins for our food we still cant eat it in our car. The server should've proactively asked us if we wanted to wait more since our ticket got lost and offered to comp the bread or something not whisper to us that the cook messes up and we didn't even get an apology.

Stopped by Mama Stortini's Restaurant & Bar for dinner and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels great for both casual nights out and family gatherings. I ordered a pasta dish, and it came out rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with a sauce that felt homemade and comforting. We also shared a couple of appetizers and some fresh bread, which were both excellent starters for the meal. Portions were generous, so it definitely felt like good value. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly without rushing us. Overall, it’s a reliable Italian spot with comforting food, good service, and a cozy vibe that makes you want to come back.

We do a 25-30 person luncheon every year, and the serving staff is always so accommodating! We've had the amazingJamila in the past, and this year we had one of her trainees, the very personable Andon. Thank you, Andon!

We came in for happy hour. Ordered chicken tenders, cheesy bread Arnold Palmer and pina colada.

The two drinks were watered down the Arnold Palmer tasted like water and I didn't even finish the pina colada it was so watery. The cheesy bread came, we ordered our entrees, they came. Our waitress never refilled our waters from the first glass and our chicken tender appetizer came as a dessert I suppose. The tenders were tasty, i ordered the brown butter spaghetti, it was very dry I needed to get some meat sauce to put on it to make it edible.

Our server wasn't hospitality at all she left as fast as she came to our table.

Overall we spent $97 dollars for two of us and between the appetizers, drinks, entrees, and the service we were not impressed.

We recently hosted a Lunch & Learn event at Mama Stortini's for 43 guests, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience.

From the very beginning, Candis and her team were incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating. Planning an event of this size can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel seamless. They worked with us on menu options, room setup, and every little detail to make sure the event was a success.

The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our guests had a fantastic time, and I received many compliments throughout the afternoon.

I especially appreciated how attentive the staff was and how genuinely invested they seemed in making our event special. Their professionalism and hospitality exceeded my expectations.

Thank you, Candis and the entire Mama Stortini's team, for helping us create such a memorable experience. We look forward to hosting future events with you!

This was our first visit but it will not be our last. Everything was outstanding. Portions are generous and we brought lots of leftovers home. We (hubby & I) ordered the 3 Course Combo and couldn't even make it to dessert. Our waitress graciously packaged our Tiramisus to go. I had it the next day and it was delicious. Absolutely, hands down, best food we've had in a LONG time.

Delivered food to our home. Had colossal chicken parm & short rib ravioli with crunchy shrimp appetizer. Also dessert but have not tried that yet...The food was awesome. I order these ravioli almost every time because they are soooo good! The hubby wanted a Cajun pasta but it wasn't available on the delivery menu. He enjoyed the chicken but said the spaghetti was good but not any thing special.

We went here today for the first time. The food had great flavor, good ideas and was very comforting but unfortunately wasn't very well executed. My chicken parmasean was very over cooked, probably from sitting under the heat lamp, there wasn't a single bit of moisture left inside the chicken. The sauce and breading and noodles were excellent though, great flavors.

Dessert was kind of the same. The bread pudding had incredible flavor, raspberry, brioche, custard, orange, and just the right amount of sweetness, it was great, until you go to the center and it was almost raw, just barely warm and became barely edible due to the consistency.

Great great flavors, not so great execution. Still, good enough that we plan on coming back to see if it was just an off night!

The food was bland. Somehow this is the first Italian restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t include complimentary bread with a $25 entrée. When I asked, the waitress implied she’d bring some out—then dropped focaccia (not my thing) on the table and charged me $6 for it. If you’re going to upsell bread, at least make it cheese bread or garlic bread.
For what it costs, the food doesn’t deliver. Domino’s honestly does Italian flavors better, and at least their pricing is upfront. Also worth noting: the servers at places like Domino’s tend to appreciate a $10 tip more than this place seems to.
Won’t be back.
