Excellent service and food, with anything spicy the flavor is noticeably better than most Chinese restaurants. On top of that, reasonable prices make it easy to recommend.

The staff are simultaneously very attentive while staying out of your way, which is a rare balance to strike--for example refilling napkins at our table wordlessly. The food is great--the signature nine way noodles have a flavorful sauce, and the sweet water noodles have a very fun texture. Clear broths are also great, as well as the small dishes like the cucumber salad and deceptively spicy mung bean jelly. Sichuanese noodle dishes are peak.

The soups here are very flavorful and the noodles are so good! The simple cucumber salad is perfectly seasoned and fresh. The ambiance is a little lacking (lighting is pretty bright with cafeteria vibes) but the service is awesome! I definitely want to come back and try the hot pot!

I think its good place to try. You build your own hot pot. But not by weight. Worth a try

The food here is fantastic, and the service is very attentive. The Mala mini hotpot is incredibly spicy and numbing, so beware if you’re not used to that level of heat, but it’s absolutely worth trying! The pig ear could use a bit more seasoning, but overall, it was still enjoyable. The Nine Ways Noodle, on the other hand, is packed with flavor and definitely a must-try. They also have lunch specials that are a great value for the cost. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for bold and authentic flavors!

Our 2nd times here, foods are good, different and unique taste (Numb and lots of chili oil), good service very efficient. You order from QR code and it link with all people in the same table likes many people can look and add foods at sometime, they will like the the table. Once we crave this taste again, we will definitely go back.

Tastes as authentic as any ma la food that I've had in the Bay Area! Great price and service, and clean interior as well.

I found myself in an unfamiliar area and relied on Google reviews to guide me to a good spot for dinner. I’m glad I did. Although I had to step out of my comfort zone with a menu that’s different from what I’m used to, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible flavors. The food exceeded my expectations.

it was all right. if you are looking for some decent food at a pretty good price, you can get a lot of small plates and eat well.
but...in regards to good and flavorful food, this place didn't hit my mark. I got the spicy and sour wonton soup, the beef jerky, the dumplings, and the pig's ear. the only one that stood out to me was the beef jerky. everything else I could do without or wouldn't care to try again.
if I go back here, it will be to try the noodles I haven't tried yet.
overall, mid food but excellent service and a decent price.
