If you're in the mood for Filipino cuisine this is a comparably good location. The price is fair, the portions filling. It's never too crowded but the favorites tend to go fast. Arrive early if possible if you want some of the specialty items.

So, I drove all the way from Everett to come here so a little over an hour drive. I got the Empanadas and the combo with two dishes. I got the Pork Adobo and the second dish he didn't tell me the name even though I asked him because I like to know the name too just in case I like it and want to order it again at other places. But he said it was pork with coconut milk. Also add the longaniza. So the service was mid you don't really get service and a cafeteria style restaurant. As far as the empanada this is the reason I dislike the fact that things go viral these days. I'm pretty sure because it went viral they raised the price a bit. Honestly the empanada was horrible no flavor at all the grease you can tell needed to be replaced. For it to cost $8 for something I could barely eat half because it wasn't good is a problem. Super disappointed. The adobo and the coconut pork was good not great but good. Excluding the fact that it was room temperature. I got there right at 10:30am when they opened not sure why the food wasn't hot. In my opinion it's not worth the drive I did to come here if you live in an area maybe I definitely would not get the empanada but the other food sure. The atmosphere of the restaurant was okay nice little spot I was the only one there so it wasn't busy decent vibe. Wish you guys the best of luck. Not sure if I just had a bad day with empanada but honestly words empanada I had sorry to say.

I guess we got there to late; 30min before closing.

We were being rushed to order. They were out of rice and pancit.

Empanada was over cooked. Not much of a selection left for the hot entree's.

Pricey for portions.

I saw the hype on IG, but to be honest everything lack tastes. I’ve had Illocos food before and they’re known for great tastes, but this place is not it. What a disappointment. We went there around 1pm. They didn’t have any chicken on the plate option. They only had bbq stock chicken which lacked real flavor. Like the chicken wasn’t marinated. And marination was added after it was cooked. Chicken wasn’t marinated pale. Their empanada was filling, but it lacked that original authentic Illocos taste!!! I have that a hard 3/10. Actually, we ordered 4 items due to their option on a Friday and we gave it all a 3/10. Their lumpia is thin and long, mostly wrapper not much filling. It’s ok. To compare them from the Filipino market down the street, I wouldn’t come here again. Sorry folks, Filipino food is a weekly for our household, but we are not coming back. Maybe you might like it, but it’s not for us. On to the next.

I discovered The Heritage through TikTok when their Ilocano empanada started trending, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. From the first bite, I could tell their food is on another level compared to many other Filipino restaurants I’ve visited.

Their adobong manok tastes truly authentic, rich, comforting, and exactly how it should be. The menudo was also very well made, flavorful, hearty, and clearly cooked with care. You can tell their dishes aren’t just made to sell; they’re made to represent real Filipino home cooking.

If I ever want to introduce non-Filipino friends to our food and culture, The Heritage would absolutely be my first choice. Everything tastes fresh, like it’s prepared daily, and the authenticity really stands out.

Even though there are Filipino restaurants closer to my home, I would gladly travel farther just to eat here. Good food beats convenience every time, especially when it feels like true comfort food from home.

My 1st time at this place. Nice lil cozy atmosphere. 1st trying the empanadas, I give it a 5 out of 10 rating. It just needs to be seasoned, the crunchiness was on point. I loved the lumpia’s, they actually are better than the empanadas. Friendly place.
