Everyone is probably familiar with their awesome & delicious pies, pastries, cakes & doughnuts, but they are starting to offer food. They have items like Loco Moco, Kaleo's burger, teriyak chicken & poutine. I had the teriyaki chicken & it was awesome, takes me back to Hawaii! It's not fancy & you need to be patient, there's only one cook & Kaleo does it right! I wish them luck with the food menu!
An unassuming storefront and lackluster interior do not represent the goodness coming out of this bakery. Barb's Pies puts out some excellent pies and pastries. It looks like a small operation. The prices are on par or a little less than other places (except Costco). I prefer supporting local business. They advertise on a radio station I listen to so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. It's best if you order the pies ahead of time. They are in high demand.
