“It was packed when we got there. Not very loud at all, but there were people waiting at nearly every table. The staff was very personable & helpful. Joe's has fresh & tasty ingredients of impressive quality. I would definitely hit this place again. You could order a wrap, hoagie, burger, sandwich, chicken teriyaki. They had a lot of selection.“
“This place is the best! The food and drinks are always 10/10 and they are super fast. After about two visits they remembered my order and now they start getting my Redbull spritzer ready as soon as they see me walk in! Even food, I don't think I have ever waited over a few minutes and it's made fresh. If you are in the area come see them!“
“I came here yesterday just looking for a healthy dining option and am so so happy to have found it. I'm up in Seattle and id literally drive down to tacoma just to visit this spot again.Nice and helpful staff, so many healthy (and unhealthy) options. I got the spiked tuna per their rec and it was so delicious! Enough for me to have as 2 meals while still priced like I'm not in 2024. The tuna itself was delicious, and had just enough of a twist that I felt like I couldn't make it at home which is always my complaint with sandwich shops.Besides the tuna I got the chili (pictured) which was presented so pretty and tasted the same. My girl had the greek salad (it was very very chopped) and we shared a froyo. Both were tasty and I'd love to come back to try more of their desserts and a few of the other items! Absolutely a must visit spot!I also want to shout out the people who worked there because they were so friendly and welcoming not just to me and my friend but to everyone who came in. They gave out the cutest samples and hand decorated and plated them and brought them to every table. Vibes were so high and you could tell they cared about the spot too. Employees tell me if I'm wrong of course but we love a spot that staff doesn't immediately look like they want to quit <3Vegetarian options: The veggie options looked really good too, and the salads all came no meat, not just the one sandwich kind of tossed up there like usual. But still only a few options. I will say that I'm sure the employees would be happy to modify anything on the menu for this need though.“
“All those truckers and longshoremen near the Port of Tacoma must be keeping this a tight lipped secret. I purchased a Toasted George with a side of potato salad. The potato salad was good, don't get me wrong order it if you like potato salad. But the toasted sandwich was SOOOOOO good. This is the place to go if you want a hearty, sloppy sandwich in Tacoma. I'm not a dainty lady and can usually put away a good amount of food in one sitting, but I had to save some of my sandwich for later. On top of the food being wonderful, lady who was working there was very kind and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here and bringing friends to share it with.“
“Picked up a couple of the Vietnamese special sandwiches. The sandwich shop is quite small, there is a counter to sit/wait & 1 table. They offer different types of banh mi sandwiches, that are not like the usual options - omelette, fish cake, sardine or meatballs. Adventurous!! Sandwiches were FRESH & TASTY! Portion sizes are very good for the price. All I can say is this little bakery bangs out delicious lunches!“
“This was my first time visiting since childhood and it has grown so much! I felt so nostalgic. I was pleasantly shocked at the beautiful menu and the cashier was the sweetest. They could use a little bit more seating inside because we did have to wait 10 minutes for our food. I ordered the BLT and my partner ordered a BYO. Both of us found them so delicious and we would 100% visit again. New local favorite “
“I’ve been eating at this place for the last two years and it is the most delicious, amazing food that you can get in the area for the price. The couple that runs the place are absolutely amazing human beings and every order is made made with love. Try any item on the menu, I promise you will not be disappointed. My favorite is the BLTA on sourdough or the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito for breakfast. Absolutely Delicious!“

“One of the cheapest places for gas in the area. Add Fred Meyer fuel points, now we're talking big savings on fuel. The place is always busy. I guess the word gets out. Add to that, a good size convenience store and deli. And if that wasn't enough for you, a drive through smoke shop. I don't smoke any more, but I'm told it's one of the cheapest places for tobacco.“
“This tiny Deli is located in one corner of a larger performance/event space with a view of the waterfront. We stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed the sandwiches that we ordered. I'd easily give them a 4.5 stars for the food. Tasty, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I'd give them 3 stars for ambiance and accessibility. They are in an event space and have a few tables generally in front of their counter. They are subject to the disruptions from groups setting up for events. (When we were there a rock group was setting up on risers.) They are located on the back (water side) of a large commercial/residential block. Although there was a sign seemingly directing us into the parking garage, we never did find a route from the garage to the deli and ended up walking the entire outside perimeter of the building to find the entrance. Clear signage would be a big plus. So good food, but challenging location. Probably really nice in the summer when outside seating along the waterfront would be available. Worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood.“

“Me and my girlfriend come here once in a while, we are always greeted with respect and wonderful food.
