“My husband and I came here for the first time tonight. Our server, Liseth, was friendly, attentive, and provided great recommendations and service. We asked her what the soup of the day was, and she told us it was a mushroom soup. She offered us a sample to try, and when she brought it out, the aromatics on the soup were amazing. My mouth started salivating from that alone. When we tried it, the flavor and the amount of umami was out of this world. It’s probably one of the best soups I’ve tried in a while.We ordered the Bison & Polenta appetizer to start and while we waited for it to arrive, we given a crustini With pesto, basil, mozzarella, and a strawberry.

The bison and polenta appetizer was melt in the mouth delicious. There was a little bit of gaminess to the bison, but nothing overpowering. It was the best appetizer I’ve ever had in my life.

My husband ordered a cheeseburger. His burger had a house-made American cheese and was cooked to perfection. The steak fries had a truffle salt on them which made them perfect in my book, he could have done with a little less….he, of course, is wrong. 😂

I ordered the quail with wild rice. I had never had quail before, so I had no idea what to expect. The meat was succulent, and while a little gamey, was flavorful and delicate. The wild rice had an amazing flavor to it, but the bit underneath the quail got a little stodgy. I really appreciated the balsamic that was over the top of the carrots, rice and quail, it added a richness to the dish that it needed.

My one major negative to this restaurant, has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but it’s location within the casino. Because of its location, you do get a lot of the smoke from down on the casino floor up into the second floor restaurant. It’s not to the point of choking on it or anything, but it is a present scent and thickness in the air that is unavoidable because of the restaurants location.

Overall, my husband and I had a truly enjoyable evening. The staff was attentive and kind, the food, amazing, and the overall experience, one of a kind.

“In my almost 60 years of living, the atmosphere and food at Tatoosh is exceptionally excellent. The management of the restaurant is amazing. We frequent many local casinos and have visited Vegas many times but Tatoosh beats them all. Their food is great and the service is amazing but there is a distinct atmosphere that takes a unique personality and perspective to create. We really appreciate the gentleman who greets nearly every table every time and the servers who go out of their way to make things exactly how you might need them. 5 stars all the way and even a clean restroom. “Celebrated a birthday date night and first time dining here. Great ambiance with fantastic service. (Thank you Jordan). We called ahead and made reservations. The table was decorated with a long stemmed red rose and a birthday card. Our meal was so delicious! Cocktails, starters, dinner and dessert were pure perfection! Thank you chef(s). That was hands down, one of the best meals we have ever had! We are already mapping out what we are ordering on our next time here! Oh and the box of letters from other patrons at each table…🥹 so precious! THANK YOU!!“
