I bought flat round bread (lavash) that supposed to be “day old” and two fresh fried pirogies with cabbage and apricots filling. Cabbage filled cheburek (pirogi) was nice and hot and tasted great but the other one was dry, like yesterday’s. It was very hard to pull it apart. I decided do not come back to replace it or return. It was not worth my time. When I took the bread for my recipe it had moldy spots on the bottom!!! I never expected to see molding on “day old” bread. 😡 When I come back to the store couple hours later the lady on the checkout blames me for not “being careful” when I bought “day old” stuff!!! And she stated that they usually don’t accept any returns and not give money back. Some things will never change 😡

I bought a watermelon, opened it at home, and it turned out to be rotten. I came to replace it with another one the next day, the seller refused to replace it, saying that maybe I stored it incorrectly and that it is normal for vegetables that they can spoil. In general, this is the second time I have come across expired or damaged products in this store

Prices are better than the other one down the street.

An excellent store with a large selection of different products such as baked goods, meat and sausage products, canned food, tea, and a pharmacy. I really liked it. We will definitely stop by when we are in your place. I recommend.

Cute store. Admittedly, it feels a little dark and damp compared with the recently opened Emish Market down the street but I actually think this Kusher store is better. It just feels a bit more cozy and authentic. The variety of imported goods is slightly larger here and there is a self-serve bakery rack of sorts with Piroshkys and Strudels that were so delicious and cheap and had a very distinct European taste to them. The freezer also had a surprisingly large variety of farmer's cheeses and meats.

Great selection and people. Reminds me of the neighborhood stores in Chicago from my childhood.?

It is a pleasant unassuming store. Plenty of choice in the refrigerator section. Fresh baked delicious bread and of course pirozhki. I like the prices too.

Adorable Bakery and General Store.Their rates are really reasonable, and they have excellent produce.I can guarantee that the affordability and the incredible softness and freshness of the homemade loaves will win you over.Get out and look. Even though this is a Polish store, I still shop here due of the low prices offered to people of color. It seems like a pizza business from the outside, but it's actually a bakery and convenience store. If you're a chef, all I can say is: go check it out for yourself.
