I am a pretty boring diner - always order scallops when I'm eating out if they're on the menu. Fortunately, the Backdoor Kitchen always has them on their menu. They are served with veggies and a delicious risotto like patty. Just delicious.
A hidden gem in Friday Harbor. The restaurant is tucked behind a furnie consignment store. Big open red doors welcome you to this intimate spot. Our waiter Elliott was the highlight of the experience. super warm and friendly. and Generous. We had a veggie yam Thai platter that was superb. Back Door Kitchen was the perfect setting for our anniversary celebration in early September. It was a warm evening so we sat in the beautiful patio/garden. Our server was both knowledgeable and efficient, and the meal was memorable. I especially enjoyed the Lemon Drop cocktail and the Masa Corn Cake appetizer.
