If you just want to have a beer and talk on a harbor watching water and ships. They have quite variety of beer on tap from all the local breweries in Washington state. Get your own snacks and food and you can cherish your beer. We just tried couple of beers, one the strong one and one pale ale. Just a perfect place to be on a lazy evenings to watch sunset.

Inside is also dog friendly! Great draft selection, too.

I was drawn to this place the minute we anchored. We ended up stopping in and had a blast. Great plants, friendly staff and fun locals. Even went back one more time since our buddy boat broke. No photos of our beer but here’s our view from the boat ? look forward to coming back and… Phil, your plant is on the way ????

Great spot and good beer. Friendly staff. Fun to sit and watch the harbor and all of the other nice scenery. Good little patio if you are lucky enough to score the 1 patio table they have!

Really cool craft beer bar right on the water. Eclectic selection from a variety of breweries. Some outdated trivial pursuit cards scattered around that are fun to pass the time. Will be back for sure. Friendly service as well

I love beer. My wife loves beer. We love visiting breweries and trying new and local beers. So it's not fun for me to say this but this place isn't fun.

They don't offer samples. It's full of loud metal or death metal music. They take your phone for tap to pay. And the guys that work there aren't much fun or nice. They have some cool beers. Not their own but that's ok. But don't ask to try for samples! The views are great, overlooking the ferry. Amazing. Just ignore the crappy death metal music.

If you want to try beer and grow your love of beer. With nice bartenders. Good music. Better food. Walk up the hill to the San Juan brewery.

I visited back in June and had a pleasant experience. Don't remember the bartender's name but he was a tatted up guy from Florida, really chill guy.

Honestly decided to leave a review after seeing so many negative ones and was surprised. Wasn't my experience at all!

I went to this place 1 year ago and absolutely loved it. Went back just now and the bartender was so egregiously rude to us that we had to leave. Saw a yummy looking hazy served to another patron and asked what it was, his reply was “that’s beer”. His generally attitude was annoyed that we walked in… at 6:30pm on a Friday? Won’t be back until/unless staffing issues are addressed.

Bartender was not friendly to us. Beers and prices were good, views great, but service bad enough to be noteworthy.

Bar tender/manager is very rude. Saw him outside the restaurant and he was very miserable. I’d highly suggest visiting the San Juan brewery where the staff were great.

What a great place! I walked in and the owner, Phil, played Pennywise, the descendants, the misfits, Bad religion , and other great old-school skater music all in a row… as if the wall of beer options wasn’t enticing enough, but the view, the music, and the atmosphere were just awesome!
Thank you Phil, and Steve, for making my weekend alone much less lonely xo

I read the bad reviews on this brewery but gave it a chance anyhow because the of the fabulous view of Friday Harbor. I came in on a Saturday late afternoon and it was almost empty. The bartender wasn’t particularly friendly but I ordered my drink. Unfortunately, I broke it taking it off the bar. The bartender was angry. Complained he had already mopped the floor and proceeded not to offer a replacement since it was my fault it broke. It’s probably the rudest exchange I’ve had in a bar/restaurant and I’d stay clear. Regretting that I actually tipped him on drink.

Great place to get a pint by the water. The service was great and the views were gorgeous. The only negative was a super loud crowd of dog owners that seemed to care about no one but themselves.
