Would give ZERO STARS if that was an option. Rude service! We approached the main window, and a women spoke to us from the side window. We ordered three of our six drinks, and she disappeared. When we pulled up to the main window we said that we had three more drinks to order."You've already ordered a lot!"After a few minutes, she asked what else."A chocolate shake.""In the future order all shakes at the same time.""We tried! Do you have drip coffee?""It's not on the menu!""Forget it. We will pay for the four drinks. We are done."Agree that the drinks are good. We have been here many times over the years.Never going back.

ROY'S NEEDS BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! they have pretty good coffee and food, which in my opinion is overpriced. They act as if serving you is a chore and they do it with attitudes. When i asked for just a slight change for my coffee order, the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes. When i got my order there was a misunderstanding so i went to ask if they could change it and they were rude and argued with me that it was my fault. If a business wants to succeed i would say customer service is one of the most important things. This coffee shop had terrible service, was overpriced and left me feeling sad inside begause they hurt my feelings.

Be aware when choosing Roy's coffee shop that behind the counter can be some awful unkind customer service. Don't interrupt or ask a question before it's your turn or you might get screemed at to wait your turn. It happened to me at the first window then she slammed the window shut!!!

The coffee is yummy, but the owner has a very short temper. I was unable to find the entrance to the drive thru as it is on a different road. The lady inside assumed I was trying to park in her exit. She yelled at me pretty fiercely even though I was just trying to ask her where the drive in is. When I came to the window she huffed around angrily and did not apologize even though she was clearly in the wrong. Piece of advice lady, if you read this, don't assume, ask what is going on with somone first, and if you do lose your temper just apologize. It is not that hard! Getting coffee is supposed to be enjoyable, it is a treat, u shouldn't go away from it feeling like crying! Customer service is as important as good quality coffee! I work in customer service and that behavior would not be tolerated at my job.

Stopped in this morning to grab a lotus, blended chai and Italian sodas with breakfast sandwiches. Great drinks and food. S they were busy so service was a bit slow but overall good place!!

Coffee was par. Not memorable or awful either. Employee appeared to wish she wasn't in a service industry though. Super cold. Short. Took abrasive right up to the rude line.

We’ve lived on San Juan Island for three years, and Roy’s is our favorite! The people are friendly and happy to help you figure out. What kind of yummy drink you want. Their chai is delicious, their dirty chai is even better. We highly recommend this little spot just up from the ferry parking.

Extremely rude staff. Due to my poor hearing I was just confirming which coffee was which when handed them, and the barista had a meltdown for having to repeat herself. Nice place to go if you’re into that. I regret tipping 30 percent.

So I live on the island on and off and have been to Roy's before with no issues, but today, I asked an older female barista what was in the espresso shake. She said "espresso" and looked at me like I was stupid. I tried to clarify by saying, "yes, but what else is in the shake?" (Meaning, clearly what are the other ingredients?) She replied, with increasing hostility, "it's an espresso shake." I was really giving this a go because I'm allergic to an ingredient that is sometimes in blended coffee drinks, so I said, "can you explain to me what that means? What the ingredients are?" To which she told me "espresso is coffee"..... thanks so much. Finally, she told me that it is blended with milk and ice cream, which duh, is all I wanted to know, but she did it while yelling and acting like an actual psychopath. I told her she was being a *bad name* (I shouldn't have, I have been a weary barista for many years of my life but this was truly unreal behavior). This lovely exchange was finished by this very stable, intelligent woman saying, "**** you, you dirty-ass b****** This is a new nickname for me! Roy, if you're reading this, your Tuesday 11 a.m. barista (not the younger one) should not be let out of the ward, let alone be given a job in customer service.

Very rude service! Sad comparing from what it used to be. My girlfriend was charged extra on her visa despite the total the barista had given. Then we were asked with a dirty look by the long hair brunette if we wanted a refund. From the beginning we were completely brushed off. You may have Roy's name but you don't have Roy's service!
