Amazing flavor!
Don't want to lose the contents while traveling south. Had hoped the plug would have held up for more than a few days.
Gin, gin and more gin.
Amazing tasting experience with the kindest hosts
Incredible place. We were lucky to do the tasting with Peter while the still was actually running and making apple brandy. We tried so many different liqueurs, ciders, and gins and learned so much about the distilling process. You must come here if you’re visiting San Juan Island!!
The nicest people with the best tasting gin amongst other delicious libations.Looking forward to our next trip to Friday Harbor to stop by and do another tasting and purchase our favorites and more.
Best part of our trip
I was surprised to see how highly related this place was. We were MUCH less than unimpressed. They only distill gin and brandy, and offer some combinations or variations of each. But we should have had enough sense to return to the car when our guide struggled through her presentation. I'd be shocked if she was legal drinking age, and multiple times when she had talked herself into a corner with her lack of knowledge of the product, her go-to solution was to say "so...yeah". I'm still struggling with the math she gave us with the apple brandy that it was four years old when it won a medal (2015?), which would make it six-and-a-half now. We braved the free tasting, but were not impressed with anything, although the apple brandy was better than the rest.
This place is a must visit for anyone who loves cocktails or wants to learn about the botanical bounty of the Islands. The distiller is deeply knowledgeable and brews with craft like few other distilleries I've visited. I came away with an appreciation for the local flavors of this area as well as a newly stocked liquor cabinet.
Wow! A hidden gem for sure. Tasting is free, selection was tasty (I don’t like gin but these were good) very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
So much fun! Gin was super delicious!

Really fantastic gin and a really nice tasting costume with great explanations and wide variety.
We absolutely loved this place. The drive there from the ferry dock was beautiful. The owners were great and so lovely. Not to mention, their gin and cider were out absolute favorite! We definitely stocked up and got some gifts for the holidays as well! An absolute must when on the island! Thanks for such a great afternoon!
What a wonderful place. The owners were very friendly and patient, letting us try multiple things before buying. Some really interesting gins and brandies.
Hawk and Suzy serve up an authentic and memorable tasting experience from cider to gin. Within walking distance of Roche Harbor on the great 3 mile scenic walking loop of Armadale Road / White Point Road. Definitely worth a visit.
When in Roche Harbor this is a good side trip. They give free samples and hand sanatizer. The cider is good but a bit on the expensive side. It is a pleasant and scenic mile walk from the hotel.
