I was so cold that I could not enjoy my meal. Too bad because the meal was exceptional as usual. They started to seat us at a table where I had been cold before so we asked for a different table. I asked an employee if they could turn down the air conditioner but they must not have. I wrapped napkins around my arms (I had on a long-sleeved jacket). I traded seats with my husband. It was really unpleasant.
Rhonda at Anthony's in Gig Harbor was absolutely wonderful and made our evening exceptional. We came for the fish, and it was outstanding. We also tried the steaks, which were beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. What impressed us most, however, was how Rhonda and the culinary team cared for one of our guests with very challenging dietary restrictions, particularly around potassium and protein. We placed our trust in Rhonda and the chefs, and they absolutely delivered....
Location is great (right on the water at the end of the harbor), and while parking can be tricky at busier times, we've always been able to find a spot either in the dedicated lot across the street from the restaurant or on a nearby street.
Staff have always been welcoming and professional, in person and on the phone. I have celiac disease, so I not only have to know that my food is fully gluten-free, I need to know that it has been prepared separately...
