We've been here several times and loved it. This last trip we showed up at 8:00, they close at 9. The hostess said we could not sit outside because theyre closing at 9:00. As we asked questions she was just getting annoyed and frustrated. We walked out and we to another restaurant. Big bummer, we had 6 of us
We sit at the little bar, it's comfortable, they have hands down thee best espresso martini, bread sticks and the their chop salad is perfect. Bartenders and servers have always been super pleasant with good conversation. Food comes out quickly and their prices are fair. The restaurant is always clean.
Been going to Fondi for years, but since post COVID, quality of pizza has been hit and miss. Ordered 2 pies for pickup yesterday, when opened at home the crust was pale, and dough half cooked (I mean really half cooked). Oven temp was probably too low. This is the 3rd time we've received undercooked dough, quality control is really spotty. Pepperoni was also clustered in one area. 3/4 of the pizza looked like a baked cheese pizza. I ended up blasting my pizza at home...
