We stopped by Susanne’s Bakery during our early-June visit to Gig Harbor and loved it. The shop has a warm, welcoming feel, and the smell of fresh pastries drew us right in. We enjoyed a raspberry scone, cinnamon roll, breakfast tea, and hot chocolate at the sunlit counter — everything felt fresh, comforting, and thoughtfully made. Susanne’s Bakery is one of my favorite places in Gig Harbor and truly a tiny local treasure. It’s a small, locally owned and operated bakery with an old-school charm that is hard to find these days. Everything is baked fresh every morning, and you can taste the care in every bite.

This is a very nice place to go for coffee, lunch or a sweet treat. The food is really good, and I love the pesto pasta salad, it is so good! The employees are all friendly and my favorite is a young man who has the light of the Lord shining through him and he brightens the entire place with his infectious smile. It’s small but quaint and always a treat to go there. I recommend it if you appreciate yummy food and great service. It’s a happy place.
