Food was tasty for bar food. The servers were super nice. They were just overwhelmed with a lot of orders and it took a while to get service. karaoke on a Friday is nice. There's a covered smokers area if that's your thing. Would go back for a group gathering but wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

Historically we have only come to the float for breakfast and have had great service and food, but happened to miss breakfast by 10 minutes and our party ordered lunch. We had pretty bad service and the food was mediocre. For breakfast they get five stars, lunch was three. We know now just to come in the AM.

A family oriented saloon or pub-like atmosphere. Sports memorabilia and today's games on big screens. Dress is feed caps/baseball caps/ trucker's caps, denim and plaids. So very and authentically rural Washington State, very Peninsula. Great food, generous portions. Can be noisy, but who cares? Excellent people watching!
Kid-friendliness: Good for kids, but alcohol is served to adults and there is a bar. So, it's not cool for baptists 😉

Yesterday (11/8/24) I met a friend for lunch. We both had burgers. Both of our buns were badly burned. Very black on the bottom!! A little less on top but also burned. The burger was totally dry. I don’t know who was doing the cooking but they should be banned from the kitchen! No excuse in serving food like that to your customers! You had to be blind not to notice. I’d rather have an untoasted bun rather than that! We told the waitress and she said she’d mention it to someone! No price adjustment was offered. I was there a couple of weeks ago with two other friends and our food was good. We won’t be back.

I went to The Float for the first time before the GH/Bellarmine football game. Place was busy but not too busy. Service wasn't bad but took a long time to get to order food and ordered a simple French Dip. 30 minutes later the server said sorry, 2nd cook just arrived and your food should be right out. Another 5 minutes goes by and we had to ask as it was getting close to game time. At 40 minutes for a French Dip it shows, bun was barely warm and it had the least amount of beef I've ever seen in that kind of sandwich...anywhere. Very disappointing and will never be back.

Always attentive wait staff, great pub grub, and consistently fantastic Bloody Marys. The fun bands and the kind owner add to the experience. It's a local favorite for watching sporting events on their many TVs. Plus, they actively support community organizations, creating a welcoming vibe every time you visit.
