I got the fish and chips and my boyfriend got the chicken fried steak. The fish and chips were very good, I can tell they are definitely hand battered on site. The sauce was also especially good compared to other places I’ve been. My boyfriend rated his steak 7.8 out of ten. I tried it too, for bar food, it’s definitely good quality. The staff was incredible, so super friendly, place was clean, warm, welcoming, I highly recommend.
Chicken fried steak was bland, but the fast friendly service made up for it.

I come here for breakfast in the mornings on my way to work. I used to go to a coffee shop that had decent breakfast sandos. The Float has better breakfast sandos for the same price, a warm room, a comfortable seat, human service, AND good coffee. Also, the atmosphere is more raw, honest, and genuine than what I find in coffee shops.
