Destination bakery!! I drive an hour and a half roundtrip just to get their delicious pies. Apple, pecan, pumpkin, berry... can't pick a favorite. They are all fantastic. Ohhh... the crust!! Lots of other amazing baked goods, sweet and savory as well. Worth a drive out to Hansville (check the tides, and enjoy a beautiful walk on the beach while you're out there, or drive out further to explore Foulweather Bluff) The food never disappoints... but they do sell out of things, so go early so you're not disappointed!

Pastries ok but small and pricy. The only kind of bread they make is sourdough which is disappointing.

What a hidden gem, this place would be easy to miss, but they've put up signs for when it's open. The food was outstanding and came home with a fresh loaf and frozen apple cider.

Pricy sandwiches and deserts. The wine tasting event they hosted for a local winery was fun.

Enjoyed a ham & cheese croissant that was very good. Proper layers and buttery, delicious. This place also sells some excellent French butter! Very friendly staff, will be coming here more often.

Adorable little shop with sandwiches and baked goods. I had a tart tatin and espresso. The tart tatin was beautiful, and it was the first time I'd had one (it was pretty good, I'm glad I tried it)

On 4/28/23, I ordered the Special which was Tuna on either a Baguette or Focaccia . Since I have TMJ and can't bite into either of them, I asked for regular bread and was told that "they don't do that", although it was freshly made to order and could have easily substituted the bread. So I could just eat the bottom half. But the bland tuna was almost non-existing - spread as thinly as one would spread butter. My husband ordered ham/cheese on a croissant. But the order came back as TWO Tuna on Focaccia PLUS the croissant. The young woman insisted he had ordered two, which of course he'd never do since he just wanted the croissant. Not wanting to cause a ruckus we just took the second sandwich too. As world travelers we have NEVER come across any restaurant or Deli which refused to substitute a simple piece of bread - even as a "special". We had our dogs and would have liked to sit outside, so I asked if they happen to have a second table since the only one there was occupied (my husband even offered to help carry if they had one in the back somewhere). But those regular patrons who only had coffee said there used to be more tables. Yet the server insisted there never had been more than one table. She actually got quite testy telling me (a 77 year old woman) I shouldn't inquire for "extras" in a restaurant. Anyone anywhere else might have said something like "you know that's a good point - I'll mention it to the owner" - or something like that - even if she didn't mean it but just to be kind. Pretty shocking. Last but not least - since we had to take the extra sandwich I asked for a container, because it came in an OPEN piece of what could be wax paper, which was hard to keep together and carry to a table without falling out - not even a plate - paper or otherwise! NOT everyone has the dexterity to juggle food on a piece of paper and crossing a room with it! She gave me a paper bag, expecting me to shove the open sandwich into it. I tried to pull the paper together which of course was impossible and asked for another piece of paper to cover it. Instead she came back with a small piece of brown tape - where I needed 4 - one for each tip of paper to hold it together. I was ready to just leave it all behind and get out of this unfriendly place. But since my husband had paid for it already I decided to just take the mess home. Needless to say - we will never go back there - nor will we ever recommend it to others.
