“We're house and dog-sitting for friends who recommended we try Jupiter Coffee. We dropped in two days ago and wow, just WOW. Coffee is rich and wonderful, and the gluten-free scones can't be beat. So good that we headed back over there this morning and, again, were not disappointed. Five stars!”

“I have been enjoying the brew of Over The Moon Coffee since I moved to North Kitsap nearly two years ago; however, it wasn't until I was treated to the warm hospitality of owners Joanne and Ed Shumake yesterday, while I was waiting to meet with outdoor photographer Tim Davis, that I fully appreciated the specialness of this family-owned enterprise. The cafe is cozy, the coffee is tasty, and the staff is always friendly.”

“Best cider I have ever had. The owners and staff make you feel like family. We love open mic, Karaoke on Sat, and trivia on Sunday. The special events are fun and there are events for all. Bring the children this is a family place. Come out and feed the animals. They have food trucks and special dinners. Friday is live music and some of the best local musicians in this area. The Valentine's dinner was first class and so good. We love this place and the people who we have grown to know as family.”

“Food: we stopped by this quaint town of Port Gamble. Didn't even know this place existed! This is a place NOT to be missed if you are in the mood for sweets. We wanted something sweet and looked up this place. Super cute town driving in, beautiful view of the water. We ordered : the almond raspberry cake, strawberry shortcake, lemon bar, and lemon cheesecake. The almond raspberry cake was so moist, not overly sweet, fresh whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and topped with some crunchy almonds, just the right amount of sweetness! Strawberry shortcake was just like grandma made it. The strawberries were just the right sweetness, fresh whipped cream, crop lu shortcake made the right way so it socks up the strawberries goodness! Lemon bar was sweet and tart equally. The crust had the right amount of crunch and buttery goodness. Lemon cheesecake was creamy and lemony dreamy! Service was friendly and helpful. They were quick and super patient as we decided what to get. This cute old gas station like spot had a nostalgic feel. Definitely will be back for their food and more dessert!”

“Clean, bright house converted to tap room and bottle shop. Fine selection of beers PLUS wonderful small selection of international wines served by the glass and sold by bottle to go. Limited, but quality, menu of light dishes. Not a lunch stop, but a great wine stop. Nestled in a very small, quaint town on the mouth of the Hoid Canal. Waterfront 2 blocks away.”
“Good tasting coffee here. Umbria coffee tastes great. They are not stingy with the coffee either. Lots of taste and price is good. Probably one of the very best espresso drive throughs on Whidby Island. Friendly and organized Baristas, too. Get you in and out quickly back on the .road”
“Love Downpour. Living in Edmonds, one of our favorite things to do is walk on the ferry to Kingston and spend the afternoon in one of the coolest towns in Washington. And a stop for a pint or two at Downpour is always part of the experience. It has to be! Friendly people, great variety of brews and a fun atmosphere. Can't recommend it enough.”
“My wife and I ate here. Food was excellent. The sauces are home made from their personal recipes. I had the chicken katsu my wife had the Thai beef salad both were excellent. We feel like we ate something healthy. Now we are going back for the cream puffs.”

“Stopped in for lunch several times and they never disappoint. Reliably fast, genuinely friendly and the food is always excellent. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! My only complaint is that it's cash only, which is inconvenient enough that I've chosen to go elsewhere to avoid the hassle a couple times when I didn't have any cash on me. That's the only thing I would change about this place, everything else is fantastic!!”

“So...where shall I start...especially when I'm 4 Guinness nitro and 1 house ale in. Had their salmon chowder and their special of grilled swordfish...AMAZING...and that's not the beers talking. Food and atmosphere is PERFECT! if you're ever in the Kingston area and you just get off the ferry...YOU MUST STOP HERE. Besides...you just got here and it's close by. The people here are top notch nice beyond words and the food quality, taste, presentation (if that's a thing at an alehouse) is astounding! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE DESSERT!!!”
“This is the first time I have been here. I am very picky about my coffee and for not knowing me she made it perfect. I live in the Tacoma area so I don't know if or when I'll be back in the area but if I do I will definitely come back.”
“I found this wonderful company at a farmers market and I couldn't be more pleased! An amazing cup of coffee! Smooth, Creamy and robust! And a women owned company to boot! I highly reccomend their coffees to any of my friends and family!”
“Easily the best coffee I’ve had on the Island. Not really what you would expect from a coffee stand. It’s much higher caliber coffee. I’m currently sipping on an iced Americano with no cream, and it’s delicious.”

“Went there on my son's recommendation to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a perfect day for weather, pizza, and party. Extremely busy, but service was friendly and as quick as could be. Staff was first class, and food was exceptional. Not your average pizzeria. Pizza creations were made with sourdough from starter that was over a hundred years old, and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and creative. All that and a front seat views of the ferries and passengers coming and going into the picturesque town of Kingston made it a day, not soon forgotten. We will be back soon to spend more time in town and return to Sourdough Willy's to enjoy another fantastic meal!”
“We have been coming here for years. While Matt has retired and the restaurant has shifted to meet a different type of experience, it's still as wonderful as ever! Emily and staff carry on the tradition of excellence in every way! You shouldn't miss this terrific foodie experience ?”

“Definitely worth a visit! Happy to see this new spot on the south end! We’ve been a handful of times over the last few months and the food has always been on point and delicious. Friendly service too. First time ordering Chile rellenos from a truck for me, but I’m so glad I did! Yum—fresh ingredients, intentional, flavorful seasoning —altogether it would have been an impressive execution coming from any traditional brick and mortar kitchen, but especially impressive considering that they did this in a truck! Ordered some Muletas (sp?) with carne asada on a whim for my toddler on another visit—these were a lower price point menu option and unfamiliar to me but they were so so good!! Baby girl got an unplanned lesson about the joys of sharing with momma that day! ;) Horchata was available the last time we were there… few things taste better than good, cold Horchata on one of these beautiful hot summer days. I hope locals get behind these guys and keep them around! :)Kid-friendliness: Taco truck that’s safely off the highway with grass and picnic tables around….As long as the kiddos don’t try to wander into the legal weed shop nearby, this is as kid friendly as it gets. The staff who have helped us were all very sweet to my chatty daughter.Parking: Shares the lot with the legal weed shop—plenty of spaces and everyone’s been friendly!”

“This is our favorite stop in Kingston every time we are there. The apple fritter is so different and better than any fritter I've ever had. It's crispy and crunchy on the edges and soft in the center. It's a dream. It's closed on Sundays so we have learned to double our order on Saturday so we can have it on Sundays too. We might have a problem haha”
“Spectacular! Delicious Hot Food. Easy to order and pick up.. Drove up ..stayed in car ... they bring food to your vehicle window.. you pay and drive away.. My wife and I are on a budget...so we ordered one meal...Plenty of food to fill us both... Worth the time, money and your taste buds will be dancing with delight.!”

“Enjoyed a great burger with a friend on a sunny day with friendly service. It's fun because it's attached to a small grocery store with everything from bait to books and ornaments!”
